I've noticed that, he seems to be better when left to speak freely and not follow a script. Really at ease in front of the camera doing live stuff, which can't be easy

Good point, and the advantage of inter-wotsit title over European title is you can completely control the former route because you get to hand pick the opponents. I've yet to hear of an inter-continental title being vacated due to a tough mandatory that the belt holder wanted to dodge

is it just me, i just cant take to josh warrington with all that leeds stuff by sky,fair enough the fans who follow him over the country you cant bad mouth them. It is like they are trying to do a ricky hatton thing again.i am Londoner not a man utd fan by the way

3 Champions is nowhere near enough world title holders? There is still the WBA world European pan Asian African world title to look for

The WBA has 4 different world titles: Super, unified, regular & interim.

I don't think they've ever dared to have 4 different WBA champs in one division before though.

It would be a terrible idea to have Josh on a stacked card in Manchester. They caused enough trouble last time and it's grown ten fold since then. It will be even bigger next time.

Josh is a really good young fighter. Only 23 and won the British, Commonwealth and Euro titles. though don't think the later had that much depth of opponents to chose from.

Last night was great for him to get an early stoppage unlike a fair few prospects Josh has already shown he can go perform in the championship rounds and has stamina and a good defence (Mounienne fight) just has to develop power. Does seem the atmosphere gave him that extra ruthlessness last night

I know Eddie has talked about Selby but personally don't see the rush leave a world title fight for a couple of years and focus on the Leeds arena being a full house instead of half.

There waas when Josh fought on the Murray v Crolla undercard in Mnachester

His power isn't that bad. Most of his wins are over 4 rounds or 6 against the usual suspects. He's stopped a most at 12 round level!

I thought Warrington looked excellent last night although Dieli's clearly not much cop but since beating Mouniemne for the Commonwealth i think Josh has looked flawless,its easy to get carried away with the Sky hype machine and the superb fans but for even Warrington to be winning at this level is beyond most people's expectations so just go with it and see where it takes him because he's definitely improving with each fight,i doubt whether Dieli is better than a shot Munroe or even Mouniemne and Lindsay but finding a bit of power is a massive bonus and something that will build confidence even if only psychcologically its still sure to do the world of good

I reckon another couple wins at Euro level and he'll be sure to give Selby problems


Im delighted Ryan got the Commonwealth belt last night,i bet never in his wildesr dreams he thought he'd even fight for a major belt let alone win one,it was a cracking scrap even better than expected,i thought Nurse would cruise to a decision win with only having to weather a couple storms but getting decked with jabs in the opening 2 rounds proved to be crucial,i had it 113-113 but could've went either way and over the moon Dave got it
