Seemed to be some crowd trouble in the 5th, about one minute in.

Everyone ringside was suddenly looking out that way rather than watching the fight.

This may sound strange but I'd rather pay to watch a Coyle fight than a Campbell fight. He is always in a cracker.

Trouble? In Hull? Nah, you must be mistaken! :shame:

Hull KR got to the challenge cup final at dinner time and the fight was at Craven Park (Hull KR home ground). Both sets of rugby league fans from Hull can be a little tetchy at times. It was always going to blow up at some point.

It kicked off a bit, nothing serious. It's Hull on a Saturday night, what do you expect. I thought Campbell looked sharp.

:TU: he does and that is a real advantage. Tommy Could is like a domestic level Gatti and he has bags of class, in the post bout interviews Could came across as a really honest and decent man and Campbell as someone with a script to folow. The lightweight division iis stacked in Britain but Campbell does look the biggest physically, Burns and Mitchell would give him some real problems with their power though.

That was my first look at Dillian White and he certainly has power, I'm looking forward to the Joshua bout, I was pleased for Brian Rose though at times Jones looked absolutely shot - the win meant so much for Rose and he is a very tough and game man.

Carson Jones has one of the worst defences I've ever seen. Seems to be impossible not to hit him cleanly, even when he holds a high guard. The guy should think carefully about retirement imo.

:TU: Jones seems to have deteriorated an awful lot he was never slipery or clever but last night he boxed like a tough man who had been shown the rudiments a month ago.

Really good night and a cracking scrap between campbell & coyle.

Couldn't see where the trouble was but assuming that it was on on of the terraces as there was a big section of Hull fc (rugby league) in one section who started chanting to goad the kr lot.

Met buffer after, he looks v old

I think he thought he could walk through anything Rose had to offer and take him out again , but it wasn't to be and I also are chuffed for Rose .

Also good to see Jim Watt back after his tragic loss of late .

Rose vs. Jones 3 should happen. Only fair to Carson.
Coyle has a spot on all future Campbell Hull shows.
Any suggestions for Whytes next opponent? Have to be someone of similair height and reach to Joshua...

Looks like Joshua vs Whyte is set for December 12th at O2.

Think he should wait a year, although if he loses he can just say he's still improving with his new trainer.

Someones zero will go. My money is on a Joshua win by stoppage.

As well as the brutal wars Jones has been a sparring partner for Canelo, Provo and Golovkin. That's going to put some miles on the clock.
