Now we've seen the back of Floyd Clinchweather, which of his groupies will you be most likely to see the back of?

Brut/kbb/koolkc

Badhusker

Well, the undercard was solid at least!
Floyd provided some entertainment in the last couple rounds showcasing a variety of offense as well as showboating, but a pretty dull fight overall. I wish he had started opening up on Berto like that earlier in the fight, but it's never been in his nature to take such liberties unless he feels totally in command.

Berto fought his arse off and I was pleasantly surprised, he didn't give Floyd an easy night and it was the most entertaining Floyd bout in a while - Berto gave him a better scrap than Manny.

I have to disagree. Berto didn't bring anything to this fight besides hardwork, Floyd's had him worked out in 60 seconds.

Floyd will have worked Berto out very quickly, Sam - he seems to do that to every opponent. I've seen very good fighters get worked out and sulk or stop committing to the fight, they get shy of throwing for fear of getting countered. Berto kept on doing what he could, he didn't cry or moan and got stuck in trying to wind Floyd up and he used his opportunity rather than see it just as a payday. I feared for a very poor scrap when Berto was named as challenger, he did better than the vast majority I can remember watching.

Nice assessment palooka. I have not seen the fight. Berto seems like an honest type to me that has a day's work in him. It's an unlikely ability that Floyd has where you can have a professional fighter like Berto trying to duff you up and to just shrug it off like he's nothing.

 Oh well. At least Mr H probably got a free ticket ;;-) ....although something tells me that that's not consoling him in this picture very much.

I'm still waiting to show me where Floyd won 6 or more rounds vs Pacquiao in an embarrassing clinch & run fest.

Berto was so poor Floyd actually threw a touch of caution to the wind and for the first time in nearly a decade Floyd threw some punches with spite, but in the end this was the total mismatch we all knew it was, Berto didn't come close to winning a round.

Berto tried more in every round than Manny did throughout his bout, I was pleasantly surprised by Berto's efforts and unpleasantly surprised by Manny's.

Nobody really talks much about Floyd trying. Floyd never really tried against Pacquiao, he never wanted the fight and was goaded into putting his record on the line, so just got through it with as much Hopkins-esque spoiling as possible.

Floyd tried a bit more vs Berto which he deserves props for, the way he finished though I guess epitomised his career from 147, he actually had Berto hurt and chose to run around the ring like a fairy.

Possibly the most predictable outcome of a PPV main event ever.
