Flanagan didn't struggle with Derry at all.
He didn't come close to stopping him though.
With body shots. I'd be more impressed if Campbell had stopped him with head shots.
Campbell for me is the new Frankie Gavin. Maybe a bit better but not significantly so.

Gotta fancy Eggy to outpoint Gavin.

Although presumably you'd agree that Gavin did significantly better against Skeete than Egg did? Of course we all know the limitations of triangle theories though...

Quite right. Eggy looked out of his league against Skeete. It's Gavin's fight on paper but different styles make for different fights.

Flores looked really drawn in the face at the weigh in.
Looks like he has put a lot of weight on overnight.

Flores looks soft to me, like he's enjoyed too many free meals and free booze.

Id say Campbell has shown way much more dedication to his pro career than Gavin. He might not reach the top, but he is giving himself the best chance

I've never seen anyone look less up for a title fight than Flores! He looks like he's been awake for 5 days and in need of a good kip.

Bellew is average. Would not call it an upset if he lost.

Anyone remember what happened last time the Liverpool crowd booed the American national anthem before a boxing match?

Bellew's ring walk seemed rather flat.

For years we've seen overweight heavies and now it's trickling down. 2 fat cruisers, wibble wobble

To top off his crackhead look, Flores likes a facial twitch too
Bellew don't look too composed here

Effectively Flores is coming off a 12 round points loss for an 'interim' belt. He's only fought a 6 rounder since then.

Yeah I think the weight cutting was more to do with just making the weight, getting the cheque and getting out of there. As lillywhite says further up, I thought Flores looked very uninterested and intimidated at the face off at the final presser.
We'll see here, but I wouldn't be at all suprised if Bellew takes him out within 4 rounds.
