fixed scorecards again and ward wins by 3x lowblows , disgusting.
Maybe as his warm-up fight at CW.Grand_Cru54 wrote:Now, I would like to see Ward against Beterbiev !!!!
Don't let the fact that 2 judges already had Ward winning, and that Weeks would let Ward tee off on Kovalev's nuts till the cows come home mean that Kovalev could win in any possible scenario. Though winded, he still clearly outboxed Ward up until that point.diddy wrote:Kovalev looked to be incredibly tired in the preceding 2 rounds, as I noted I had Kovalev ahead but he looked exhausted and probably wouldnt win another round, which is what happened. Dont let what happened in the last round sway you from how deeply he was breathing the previous 2 rounds. He was actually turning his back trying to get a breather.
Ward is a dirty disgraceful fighter, and Vegas is a dirty disgraceful place with dirty disgraceful judges.lazboy wrote:Most people were right, that Ward is a dirty disgraceful fighter.SFW wrote:The fluffers were wrong again, so brace yourselves because it's going to be like 3 dozen ladies on the rag in here for a long time.
Wrong. Again.
Thats true. Kovalev was fighting and uphill battle , oh well. I hope he gets some good money off this..Blodhemn wrote:Don't let the fact that 2 judges already had Ward winning, and that Weeks would let Ward tee off on Kovalev's nuts till the cows come home mean that Kovalev could win in any possible scenario. Ward is a cheating piece of shit and if I were his opponent I'd demand that the ref be from a country other than that of the U.S.A. and the fight not held in Vegas or California.Grand_Cru54 wrote:Now, I would like to see Ward against Beterbiev !!!!
Not really....armageto wrote:People here were really desperate for Ward to lose. Can anyone not see that a lot of these "Low blows" Kovalev was trying to milk were actually legal or borderline punches? In the last 3 punches, one to me looked low, that last one. The first looked legal, the second right on the belt line.
I'm not even a Ward fan, but I can give him his respect on a great win tonight. Some of you guys need to go cry yourself to sleep already...

You obviously need some glasses because you are as blind as Weeks was.armageto wrote:People here were really desperate for Ward to lose. Looked like Ward landed two uppercuts to the nuts to finish the fight, and then Kovalev was called KO'd without and even 10 count...armageto wrote:People here were really desperate for Ward to lose. Could care less about "seeing Ward lose" as it won't happen, ever, in Vegas. People just want fairness, and that obviously didn't occur. Kovalev clearly wanted a breather, but he had also been getting hit low all night, with only one instance being recognized by Weeks. It's a comedy at this point. Much more to laugh about than cry.armageto wrote:People here were really desperate for Ward to lose. Yes, there was no surprise.lazboy wrote:Most people were right, that Ward is a dirty disgraceful fighter.

Corrupt referee ignored Ward's fouls, quick stoppage.
Kovalev got done dirty again.
The hometown score of giving all *close* rounds to the favorite strikes again.armageto wrote:Blodhemn wrote:Don't let the fact that 2 judges already had Ward winning, and that Weeks would let Ward tee off on Kovalev's nuts till the cows come home mean that Kovalev could win in any possible scenario. I had Ward up 4-3 going into the 8th. I guess we disagree on what clearly outboxed is. To each their own....
What did Sergey get away with other than his consciousness...klitoris wrote:Honestly Kovalev was looking for a way out of this fight. He's lucky that fight got stopped controversially, because the way it was going, he was gonna get either KTFO in the next few rounds or lose on the cards. Ward was landing and Kovalev was getting gassed the same way he did in the first fight. This way he can say that he got screwed again. Even though Kovalev fans are pissed, deep inside Sergey knows that he got away with one.
I don't think Kovalev was hit too low at all. I think he complained on EVERY body shot, trying to get a point taken away. The last three punches, one looked low to me.victor-romeo wrote:Blodhemn wrote:Could care less about "seeing Ward lose" as it won't happen, ever, in Vegas.
