Pacquiao is a pure f*cking legend. 40 year old, defeated the young lion. It was absolutely Pac's bout, Thurman score sucks. I had it 115-112 for Pacquiao. Thurman should have been more cautious early, he got caught and that frustrated him. Pac took a very big part of the early rounds. Thurman tuned to the fight in the 6th. Thurman even stole the ending, but that wasn't enough. Pac established a good lead, he won that fight fair and square.

What a terrific couple of competitors and gentlemen. I have always liked both. This fight does nothing but increase my admiration for both.

This fight reminds me of ODLH v Quartey. ODLH likely loses without the 12th round KD. Same goes for Pac without the 1st round KD.

I saw a close fight, and I was fine with the split decision. Pacquiao won most of the early rounds, Thurman won most of the late rounds. Thurman landed more overall and threw less. Pac landed more jabs, Thurman landed more power punches. I thought rounds 3, 4, 5, 11, and 12 were essentially swing rounds. Very good match, and FOTY so far!

I was a bit muddled by the scoring? How could anyone watching this fight score it in Thurman's favor?? 116-112 is my "generous to Thurman" score. Pacman was dynamic and significantly, observably, hurt Thurman at least 3 times that I saw.
This was no split decision IMO.
