Yes, Porter has improved since his close fight with Thurman. He hasn't really learned anything new, he just does "Porter" better these days
I would pick Porter over Thurman, unless Spence takes too much out of him first.

That is actually quite accurate. No changes to his style. He's just better at what he already did.

I don't know that Porter has improved, ugas is a solid fighter but that wasn't exactly an endorsement of improvement.

Ugas is underrated, but that's a fair point.

Considering Spence didn't stop or even drop Mikey Garcia your lack of confidence is well founded.

No, he has not. They were both close but he defeated both Danny and Ugas.

Porter knows when to take the foot off and back pedal. Frustrating fighter. Props to Spence is he stops him. That’s a statement.

Yes, I didn’t mean to imply that it would be close. I just think Porter will make it as difficult and as frustrating as he can and that he’ll survive. So I’m thinking decision wide Spence. Or maybe dominant.

The reason is money.
These guys only had two choices: take a huge risk to lose for the sake of a small payday; or face easier foes for more money.
The choice is rather easy.
Compare the historical audience figures and the size of paydays to the theory I’ve just articulated and you’ll inevitably realise that there’s a very close correlation between the two.

Every time Spence's name was brought up to Thurman he would get all "Uhh...Umm...our team needs some tuneups...uhh...maybe after a few more fights"

-Porter ducked Spence.

That is all convenient, but Once Upon A Time has no logical reason to fight Spence prior to now. Spence, contrary to his own assessment of his drawing power v Mikey, has never brought the $$$ to the table to justify the risk, when OUAT was healthy.
