The amount of crap you gave me and other forum posters for correctly predicting the outcome is surely something you must feel embarrassed about? :OhYes:
Not at all, my point was you were calling this a mismatch and giving him 'no chance at all' while entirely ignoring what Yarde brought to the table and waffling on about experience as the be all end all. 'No chance at all' doesn't have an 8th like that :TU:

In the end, no amount of ring experience would have helped Yarde tonight, he was just beaten by the better guy.

Enjoy your Saturday night in your parents' basement. :TU:
I provided you with the “rose vs. thorn” explanation, which silenced you, but you persistently misrepresented what I wrote.

You didn’t just criticise me, but you attacked others too, but you won’t address that, will you?

Selective amnesia on your part?

Your salty tears of frustration taste absolutely delicious! :OhYes:

Hopefully there is no permanent damage from all punishment to the head Yarde took today.

Even after hurting Kovalev I don’t see anything special with Yarde. What does the future hold? I don’t know but I think he would benefit from dropping his delusional trainers, dropping his ineffective Mayweather imitation defence and maybe drop muscle although clearly his strength and power is an advantage.

I don't see how there couldn't be some degree of brain damage sustained from that fight.

132 punches landed by Yarde were the most on Kov ever.

No question. Maybe in the first Rd.

I wouldn't mind seeing him retire now on a high note. He looks vulnerable these days.

But seriously why do I see Russian fighters hiring American a-holes as trainers? Povetkin did it too and it cost him a lot in his career, and Kovalev's a-hole trainer tonight was anxious to stop the fight after round 8. I don't see any American fighters hiring Russian a-holes to be their trainers.
That is what is called over here as lighting a fire under someone's ass. It worked, didn't it?

Maybe it's a language barrier, but why are you calling the trainers a-holes?

Kovalev will agree to the clause because the payday will be out of this world and its time to cash out.
Kov won't see the later rounds. He's a talented big puncher with balls but his punch resistance is gone. Canelo will demolish him early, easy money. No chance kov wins.

Because he's an American hating asshole.

Although “I agree with Andre Ward” isn’t something I ever thought I’d say, I do agree with him.

1. Fight Canelo.
2. Make a lot of money.
3. Hang em up.

but only 3 fighters (Alvarez, Chilemba and Hopkins) lasted more with Kovalyov..2 of them are defensive fighters that dont throw too much + they fought better version of Kovalyov

Can see after Yarde’s huge round, he himself was finished. Hardly landed anything.

I think it's time for Kovalev to retire. If he can get the Canelo fight for big money, God bless him, he should take it but I don't see him beating Canelo. Canelo will be there for all 12 rounds. Kovalev is too easy to hit & I think Canelo will find the mark too often. 3-5 years ago, it would have been a completely different story but today Sergey is showing his age.

let's not forget that Canelo is much smaller... of course, i can see him defeating Kovalyov, but i still would favour the Russian... i can actually imagine it to look like Kovalyov vs Yarde - Kovalyov being clearly ahead on points

Yes, just take that Canelo-money and laugh all the way to the bank.
