I know it’s supposed to be the flagship division but I rarely get excited by heavyweight fights, they just don’t represent the skill set of a trained boxer very well and the fact they don’t have to make weight let’s a lot of them go into fights in less than fighting shape, I’ll leave the big lads for the casuals to fawn over while I cast my eyes on the little guys for top level skill

Also there are plenty of knockouts and far more entertaining wars in other divisions, the whole fetish with HW size doesn't actually bear out a lot of what the fetishists are hoping for.. At times it's like people are just there for the freakshow of seeing very large men

I know, people say they can’t get into the little guys because they see them as midgets or some sh1t like that but the heavies are not representative of a regular sized guy either! If Inoue v Donaire was on prime time free tv it would’ve turned some heads, I know that.

Because the heavyweights are box office, it's just the way it is. I tend to agree though, other than Usyk none of the heavyweights are supremely skilled like the top of the other divisions imo.

I hope you're right but I'm not sure. I've learnt the more Fury chats about a KO, the less he actually goes for it (maybe to trick the opponent). He could try repeat Klitschko and realise he can easily jab and run to a victory and just avoid getting hit altogether

I've said it before but his big one punch right handers always follow a nothing jab range finder. Except that one moment, Ortiz dealt with it perfectly, moved every single time that range finder was put out there by Wilder but again it only takes one moment with Wilder. Fury's gonna have to be switched on. He did it in the first fight, if you watch it, every time except the knockdowns, that left goes out, Fury ducks or moves and shows the shoulder

Gerald Washington vs Charles Martin in a fat heavy rumble. Might be entertaining.

There’s a PBC vs TR fight, Sebastian Fundora vs Daniel Lewis. Fundora has been getting attention for being a 6’5 light middleweight and has been called the “towering inferno” but he’s certainly not a gimmick, some good KOs on his record. Lewis is a classic tough Aussie but with better skills, works the body great.

Emanuel Navarette (who beat Isaac Dogboe twice and has stayed very active since) is fighting someone I haven’t heard of.

I'm actually going out there (to Vegas) for this. Had a work thing in San Francisco starting on the Monday so it seemed too good an opportunity not to take up and see a big fight in Vegas, basically a lifelong dream (family got in the way!).

So obviously am quite 'up' for it as it were and I did enjoy the first fight.

I imagine Fury outboxing Wilder for every second of every minute of every round - while he's standing. Think of the first fight and Ortiz fight, Wilder hasn't won many rounds of boxing in a couple of years, obviously bar the ones he sparked his opponent in.

Does Fury keep out of Wilder's way for the full 12 this time?
