Yes it was a good win for Jono. I don't want to take that from him.
I just don't know how good it was, because Quigg wasn't really there. It looked like he had learned a few things from the Farmer fight, and was sitting down on more shots. But on the other hand, Quigg was right there to take them.

Funny seeing Carl working on a Hearn show given how much he supposedly hates him.

Great career Quigg can retire a proud man.

Not taking anything away from Carroll but he outboxed a man who was way past his best. Quigg can look back on a fantastic career with the only real question mark for me being the total no show in the Frampton fight.

Other than that fight he left everything in the ring and should enjoy retirement before it starts taking his faculties.

Feel sad for Quigg, quality fighter, heart of a lion, unfortunately time waits for no man.

Totally agree, a shadow of his former self but it happens in boxing - should have been stopped much earlier. Good performance from Carroll I must say.

Actually WBA ordered Quigg to fight Rigo. A regular belt is not supposed to be involved in a unification of a Super champion is around. But they allowed it as long as Frampton-Quigg winner would fight Rigo.

As we know, Frampton vacated, instead of fighting Rigo.

Plus, anything for Hearn to call Frampton-Quigg a unification fight.
