All of a sudden there is mention of 250k each. I doubt Theo will have those kind of backers.
Seen it , says 250 grand each , in the pot to go to the nhs , both guys show up at designated venue , 3 suporters each , then next breath says , no point taliking to or answering Mikey whats his name , because it will not be allowed for some time .

Did'nt know John is on this talk back scene , and according to Mickey booked out across the country at 45 quid a pop ,, Doubt he wants it now , getting beat would affect his hard man image and cost him a living ,, thing is though not doing it could have the same effect ...

Still can't understand why people would go and pay to listen to his hardman , i'm a fighting man shite anyway .

I’d imagine his talks will be about Tyson. They’re called “Stay away if you can’t handle the truth “
As for the fight..... I’d rather it didn’t happen, but John’s going to have Tyson, Big Shane and his Hughie there and an unlimited pot of money. Pretty intimidating if you can’t back it up.

I don't get it. It was supposed to be fight and proceeds go to NHS. I assume this meant from some sort of ticket sales/sponsorship.

Now all of a sudden they are on about chucking 250k in each and winner selects the charity, or have I misunderstood?

Seems rather over complicated.

Also, that Spencer bloke said NHS aren't interested as well.

Nigel Benn was after a fight again not that long ago.

I’d pick him over both of these even with the weight disadvantage.

The thing about these ex MW/SMW fighters is they're ginormous, now. How big are people like Benn and Eubank and Steve Collins these days? I bet they're all cruiserwights at least. All of them would murder these two.

That line and ‘on the cobbles’ have become very much in vogue in the last 10 or so years haven’t they. It’s just an excuse for plonkers to talk absolute shite. One of the Walsh brothers was in an IFL interview saying he would beat Floyd Mayweather on the cobbles. I’d have loved Floyd to see the interview and call his bluff.

I’m sure on the cobbles has been around for ages, mind I’m not sure I’ve seen it used outside the boxrec British forum since like 2004 or whenever TF I joined

Yeah around about then, I think Carl Froch around about then was saying he was handy on the cobbles when he was younger. All unsubstantiated of course.

Just on the fact that boxers are used to being punched and can last more than 30 seconds gives them a huge advantage against most.
Also remember that most boxers come come tough backgrounds and started boxing because they were scrapping in the street too much.
These idiots which say they aren't boxers but cobbles kings are full of it.

Exactly it would be easy to imagine Froch being a monster in a street fight. Also you get pure mugs thinking boxers start jabbing and moving in a street fight most steam in with the head elbows whatever range it starts at.

"Big"John has his own boxful of cobbles that he keeps in his caravan. Setting them out takes longer than the "straighteners" that have happened "on" them, I have been told *taps nose* <we need an emoji for this.

I quite like the idea of him carrying round a bag of cobbles wherever he goes, just on the off-chance it kicks off

Adam Smith is dangerous on the cobbles im told. This so called feud will be completely forgotten about when real boxing starts. No way this BS happens
Depends If Mickey Theo shuts up. If he doesn't it will be difficult for Fury to dodge this unless he keeps demanding daft money.
