He was outclassed by adamek and outboxed by stiverne. He wasnt very good at his peak - mostly an old hbo haymon hype job with a fun style and personality

Chris Arreola was universally-regarded as a top heavyweight between 2009 and 2013.

Hindsight might suggest he was never that good, but that doesn’t rewrite history.

People once thought he was a good heavyweight.

I'm trying to think back on if Jameel McCline is in fact his best win. Without looking up his record I'm trying to think of what his biggest win that comes to mind is.

Personally my favorite fight of his is that ugly slugfest with Curtis Harper the guy that infamously walked out against Efe Ajagba before the fight began.

I know Arreola beat Chazz Witherspoon with an easy KO win.

Is Jameel his best win? I can't think of one better off the top of my head.

fundora putting it on cota, cota just looking to time winging left hands, ref jumps in and fundora wins by tko just as cota lands one of them lol

Not a great stoppage but I didn’t think it was too bad. Cota was badly wobbled and was taking hard shots.

it was kinda weirdly timed one. fundora had been battering cota a few seconds earlier and he didnt stop it. then there was a bit of a lull, and cota actually lands a decent shot, then he steps in.

The ref stopped the fight right after Cota got the best of an exchange.

Bad timing on the refs behalf. Cota had been winging that one shot over and over. I wouldn’t be surprised if Cota wasn’t even looking when throwing - seemed desperate, courageous but desperate. Overall though, he had taken a fair amount of punishment.

One commentator was yelling over and over for the ref to stop it and then they kept harping about the late stoppage afterward. You'd think he would quiet down about it after seeing the replay.

ya, i think cota had been taking enough punishment so that im not really bothered by it, but it was just a strange thing to let it go when he was really getting hammered, wait until it slows up and cota lands a good shot, and then stop it then

anyway, the gangly motherf@cka wins another. he is a fun watch and doesnt bother to fight outside at all

Figs head movement seems very awkward and not effective. It could end up making things worse for him.

Ramos is out boxing him using stock standard fundamentals.

Fig is taking a fair amount of punishment also. Wonder how long he can take that.
