It's truly bizarre. My Facebook feed is full of people in their 30s discussing the fight as if Mike Tyson is legitimately gonna KO Paul lol. They'll throw a bunch of fairy taps at each other for 8 rounds with the occasional half decent shot before whoever negotiated the best is declared the winner.

Jake Paul's career may be a farce, but up to this point his fights have not been "fake" exactly. Not in the sense that they have a pre-determined outcome anyway. They're fakeness comes in the sense that he never gets into the ring without having a distinct advantage over somebody in some sort of way.

Most of these novelty fights are faked to a high degree. Like McGregor vs Mayweather. Mayweather could have finished that in three rounds if he wanted to. It was basically a sparring session with neither actually trying to win that the saps paid for.
