Viddal Riley added to Amir Khan vs Kell Brook undercard on February 19, live on Sky Sports Box Office

British boxing’s biggest domestic event of 2022 will also host one of its brightest prospects as undefeated cruiserweight confirmed for card

Cruiserweight prospect Viddal Riley will return to the ring on the undercard to Amir Khan and Kell Brook's headline fight at the AO Arena Manchester on Saturday, February 19.

Riley was a Team GB member in his amateur period and is now undefeated in four fights as a professional.

A successful artist and musician outside of the ring, Riley has over two million followers across his social media channels, all of whom will be paying close attention when he makes his BOXXER debut in February, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

"Viddal is one of the most highly-rated prospects in British boxing," said Ben Shalom, founder and CEO of BOXXER.

"He's got the skills, charisma and fanbase to be a megastar. We were incredibly excited to sign him to BOXXER and we're excited to share his journey as he battles his way to the top in the coming years."

Adam Smith, Sky Sports' head of boxing development, said: "Viddal Riley has a perfect platform to resume his career on the Amir Khan vs Kell Brook bill. A massive night for British boxing.

"We've welcomed Viddal to the Sky Sports Boxing team as a social media presenter, but now he returns to the ring as an unbeaten cruiserweight contender.

"It will be fascinating to follow the next step of his journey as Viddal showcases his skills in Manchester, with more exciting additions to the Khan vs Brook show to come!"

Riley's BOXXER debut will be his first time competing as a professional in his home country.

The former Team GB member represented Britain at the 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympics and went 41-8, with 19 KO's, during an amateur career which encompassed a European Junior silver medal and a win over Daniel Dubois. His professional bouts to date have taken place in the USA, Dubai and Mexico.

Riley is also known as the trainer of YouTube sensation and super-influencer KSI, having trained him for both of his bouts with Logan Paul as well as his showdown with domestic rival Joe Weller.

I don't condone the use of spurious nicknames, but in this case I'm willing to make an exception :salut:

Kell is far from broke and Amir obviously can if ticket sales are anything to go on. Don't make the exception.

Yeah. Kell has earned well for sure.
I think it was more the cash out of this fight, rather than anything retrospective of the actual event

I honestly cannot see why so many people have a problem with these two professional boxers, beyond they have waited too long to face each other. They have both accomplished pretty much what they could. Neither shied away from daunting challenges. They both have been involved in exciting contests.

I am very much interested in what each have left and how this match plays out.

:TU: I think there's a great story to this fight, and it's an interesting match of styles also. Hopefully they've both got enough left for one last big night.

Press Release | Adam Azim, Hassan Azim Added To CardKhan vs. Brook: Adam Azim, Hassan Azim Added To Card

Boxing brothers Adam ‘The Assassin’ and Hassan ‘The Hitman’ Azim have been added to the sold-out BOXXER: Khan vs. Brook card on Saturday 19th February at the AO Arena Manchester, live on Sky Box Office.

BOXXER Founder and CEO Ben Shalom, said, “I’m really excited to have both brothers Adam and Hassan on another big show. I love working with them and their potential is endless. The Azims lit up Wembley last month and they’ll bring their brand of excitement to Manchester in front of an audience that will love them. This is another massive platform for them to showcase their talent in front of a sold out crowd and live viewers on Sky Box Office.”

The new young stars of British boxing both delivered excitement and knockouts last month with Adam (2-0, 2 KO’s) flooring Stu Greener twice en route to a second round stoppage with a backflip to celebrate, whilst older sibling Hassan (1-0, 1 KO) stamped his pro debut with a stunning first round and one punch KO of Ivan Njegac.

They will join unbeaten cruiserweight talent and social media uber influencer Viddal Riley (4-0, 2 KO’s) who was announced earlier to feature on this event in his long awaited BOXXER and British debut. More names and fights will be added to the card in the coming days.

Adam and Hassan will get to showcase their skill and punch power to kick off a massive 2022 in their careers that will see their stock and profile rocket on the Khan v Brook card that completely sold out in 600 seconds - making it the fastest selling British boxing event in recent memory.

As youngsters, both were heavily influenced to start boxing by watching their idol Khan - who broke down racial barriers to become Britain’s first Asian boxing superstar when he won the Olympic silver medal in 2004 at just 17 and going on to become a Two-Time World Champion - and they can’t believe they are now going to be featuring on his undercard.

The gifted brothers, who won 16 National titles between them in the amateur code, hope to inspire the next generation of talented young Asian boxers coming through in the sport.

Adam said, “I am absolutely ecstatic to be part of the huge BOXXER event on the 19th February 2022 at the AO Arena Manchester. I remember watching Amir Khan as a mesmerized 6-year-old, I cannot believe 13 years later I would be fighting on Amir Khan’s undercard. It’s a dream come true. I hope that we can have the same effect that Amir had on us and get more youngsters into boxing.”

Hassan added, “It’s a privilege to be on the Amir Khan vs Kell brook undercard. I became a boxing fan because of Amir Khan and I cannot comprehend the excitement of now fighting on the undercard. Thank you to First Access, Sky Sports and BOXXER for making my dream come true.”

Dam I just bet on Kahn by ko. Still like the bet at 5-1, but if it was 147 I was gunna throw a bit more on it.

I’d still give Khan the advantage.

Since the Spence fight, Brook has struggled below 150. He weighed 150 against Zerafa and struggled

Agree. The weights what worries me. Kell shouldn’t be anything under 154 in my opinion.

I'd say Khan starts very fast as usual and lands a quick flurry in the first or second round,Brook wobbles a bit and doesn't fire back enough-ref jumps in

Like Crawford-Brook.

He didn't exactly drop him, but Brook's punch resistance is non-existent. He'll be against the ropes and the ref may jump in.

I can see that too,

yes, exactly like that,Brook should be careful what he wishes for,how is he going to live with a stoppage loss if it happens
