I had Joyce a round up at the time of the stoppage, but they had to look after that eye.

Fella is a heavy bag on legs who's just been stopped by a 40 year old.

First few rounds did the damage. Got the swelling started early and then kept putting pressure on it. We all thought Joyce could walk through anything, but the chin wasn't the problem here, it's a matter of protecting your other assets.

We've all seen the vulnerability, but we thought he could outwork his opponent and put them on the backfoot.

Never good seeing fights stopped on injuries but what can you do, take nothing away from Zhang he was very good tonight, was tattooing Joyce with the southpaw left hand from the start, rocked him in the 2nd and by then Joyce was beginning to look a mess, Joyce was starting to get to work as he often does after a slow start but he was already swelling up on the eye and he wasnt putting any dent in Zhang who was still landing the better punch, that left couldn't miss, knew it was getting stopped in the 6th when the ref called doc a second time
