Probably worth mentioning Fury was fully clothed when he weighed in.

Hmmmmmm, na, he'll still win.........won't he????????
Think how much of a useless slob Fury looked when he was that heavy in the past. If Abell goes for it, he could easily catch that shaky chin with something. I'm gonna put a cheeky 20 on Abell 1-3 at 30/1.
Actually scratch that, Fury to get knocked down is enough for me at 6/1 and some speculative early round bets for Abell.
Take it as a compliment Riddick, they do it at three books for me, sometimes to win as little as £200, its because you know what your doing mate, I always smile/talk sweetly and accept what theyRiddick Blowe wrote:Bastard pudenda at Paddy have screened my bets on certain results.
Why do they do this? If you don't want to take my money, price it shorter and I'll go elsewhere!!!
Bet365 are the worst for this. Had a couple of big accumulators come in and had a really good month then it was like doing the Krypton factor to get a bet on. I just went to Boyle sports (who I'm sure were owns by the same company) in the end and give it a couple of months and I was welcomed back with open arms. one thimg i will say is though is that bet365 will listen to a complaint and I've actually had losing bets overturned.Riddick Blowe wrote:Bastard pudenda at Paddy have screened my bets on certain results.

I think he had bricks in his pockets to fool the bookies so he can put a big bet on himself.domjon wrote:Riddick Blowe wrote:Abell stoppage 16/1. Guy knocked down Pulev...The Insider wrote:Fury just weighed in at a career heaviest of 19st 8lb!!!!!

Im a big fury fan but that is a really bad weight. HAS to be worth a bet.
I'd never say bet or don't bet to anyone but using 'Guy knocked down Pulev' as your reasoning is shaky based on the fact it was more a case of Pulev getting his feet square and close and being knocked off balance. He wasn't hurt at all.Riddick Blowe wrote:Abell stoppage 16/1. Guy knocked down Pulev...
Fury squares his feet up in close regularly as well, Pajkic and Cunningham both caught him like that and Abell can punch, plus Tyson doesn't look to be in great shape, so betting on the knockdown is a good option like Riddick's gone for.Aden wrote:I'd never say bet or don't bet to anyone but using 'Guy knocked down Pulev' as your reasoning is shaky based on the fact it was more a case of Pulev getting his feet square and close and being knocked off balance. I've went for the same bet for the following reasons;expe wrote:Fury squares his feet up in close regularly as well, Pajkic and Cunningham both caught him like that and Abell can punch, plus Tyson doesn't look to be in great shape, so betting on the knockdown is a good option like Riddick's gone for.Aden wrote:I'd never say bet or don't bet to anyone but using 'Guy knocked down Pulev' as your reasoning is shaky based on the fact it was more a case of Pulev getting his feet square and close and being knocked off balance. I had one bookie that have limited my bets to 17p! RidiculousThe Insider wrote:Bet365 are the worst for this. We'll see. I personally don't think Abell has been brought in to try and win, allegedly have a lot riding on Fury - Chisora 2. I think he'll show nothing and go over early.ThereByTheGrace wrote:I've went for the same bet for the following reasons;expe wrote:Fury squares his feet up in close regularly as well, Pajkic and Cunningham both caught him like that and Abell can punch, plus Tyson doesn't look to be in great shape, so betting on the knockdown is a good option like Riddick's gone for.
- Fury has admitted he has had a poor training camp
- he is relatively inexperienced v southpaws
- he has been down before a few times
- Abell has a decent ko record
- Fury's weight doesn't look to be the best

Uncanny, as I've just had Fury inside 3 and Chisora stoppage. Also had a few outrageous ones as the temptation is just too much.Datsue wrote:

Abell, from what I've seen of him, has no punch resistance whatsoever.
Also: I suffered through Christian Hammer (big flabby German-domiciled Romanian who flattened Danny Williams--I know, who hasn't, right?) vs Johnson just now. Typical Johnson fare. Two jabs a round & the occasional smooth move off the ropes. If Dereck's up for it he should hammer the big useless lump.
He must be one of the few fighters who has a trainer who is more entertaining than the fighter; & you can always, always hear them during the rounds of a Johnson fight, because the crowd is always funereally hushed.
Chisora points is like printing money, Johnson won't come to win, but he ain't getting stopped either, almost guaranteed it will go the full 12.Riddick Blowe wrote:Of the outcomes of Chisora/Johnson, I really can't see the Del stoppage despite what folk say about home cooking.
I expect the fight to be fought at the pace of a slug on barbiturates with Del winning by default by at least throwing some punches but mostly on arms and elbows.
And yeah the Fury fight...Tyson just doesn't seem right for this one. I've had a few punts on variations involving Abell early KO and Fury to be dropped just for the value available but Abell is still a bit of a patsy. I wish he was fighting a better trial horse like Dom Guinn who would take his lardy ass into the late rounds, would have been a lot more confident betting on a solid type like Guinn.
That's what I thought at first, then changed my mind a few times and now I'm back on the Chisora PTS train.expe wrote:Chisora points is like printing money, Johnson won't come to win, but he ain't getting stopped either, almost guaranteed it will go the full 12.Riddick Blowe wrote:Of the outcomes of Chisora/Johnson, I really can't see the Del stoppage despite what folk say about home cooking.

Chisora points is nailed on and Shafikov could beat Vasquez and I suppose Crawford could beat Burns, but I don't think he will, Abell could do Fury and if anyone's going to lose it in the ring it's him, but I think Wlad will knock Leapai out, even Kevin Johnson managed to stop him. Good luck with it though, a lot of money if it comes off.Riddick Blowe wrote:That's what I thought at first, then changed my mind a few times and now I'm back on the Chisora PTS train.expe wrote:Chisora points is like printing money, Johnson won't come to win, but he ain't getting stopped either, almost guaranteed it will go the full 12.Riddick Blowe wrote:Of the outcomes of Chisora/Johnson, I really can't see the Del stoppage despite what folk say about home cooking.

I placed a £10 accumulator at odds of 1043/1, definitely the most speculative bet I've ever placed:
Chisora decision
Shafikov
Crawford
Abell KO 1-5
Wlad decision
:) Basically banking on Fleshy Fury to lose his mind in there early doors and Wlad to hug, spoil and safety-first his way to another turgid decision. Stranger things have happened :)
The jab would probably be enough for Leapai, can't see Wlad missing with it once, for all his failings technically he is excellent and very heavy handed, Leapai will probably take too many and be ground down, maybe around the 8th round.Riddick Blowe wrote:Yeah I have another one minus the Wlad fight at 129/1 :)
I thought at the time Wlad is so safety first these days and might just do his jab and hug routine and Leapai hangs in there for a terribly dull fight, but in hindsight I can't see a guy like Leapai seeing the final bell.
