No, he's definitely not Liam Smith, Liam's on the slide, but he's still levels above Benn. Their power is a different thing, I haven't been punched by either, but I think they have similar power, that's just MO. My point is, I don't think Eubank's punch resistance is as good as made out and I'm not being flippant, I just think if Benn lands clean, he'll hurt Eubank like Liam did.

Fair enough and you might be right, Eubank is t the fighter he was there’s no doubting that. I still think he’s to much for an eggless Benn

The thing with Eubank and I have mentioend it before he's 35 now, and when you consider his old man was retired at 32 - It does put some perespective on it. I know Jr keeps himself in immaculate shape, but even so. He has got a few miles on the clock now.

I think Eubank Jr is on the slide, but he should have enough to see off Benn, I don't think Benn does a single thing better than Eubank, apart from consuming more eggs.

It's probably the best platform for the fight really, especially if they think the name thing holds some value. A lot of Sky subscribers are more old school than other platforms.

Of the five fights on the card, the main event is the only circus act. The others ain't bad at all.

Billam-Smith is in with a tough opponent in Brandon Glanton. If Chris ain't 100% he could be in trouble here.

I think Clarke wears down Riley.

Yarde & Arthur ends in a draw.

McKenna stops Smith. That's if Smith actually makes it to the ring.

Outside of the UK it's a meaningless fight, it's only meaningful in the UK because of their father's names and rivalry.

People will buy it, but I won't and will still be watching it though.

None of the bill mean anything to anyone outside the UK and it just shows what a massive rip off this whole show is

It’s one of the biggest British fights ever according to an MP but yeah can’t imagine many American fans buying it, especially as it’s in the afternoon for them.

Fraank Waarren, Chris Eubank Jr. urged to resolve legal dispute

Fraank Waarren is suing boxing Chris Eubank Jr. over a series of remarks he made at a news conference in September.

British boxing promoter allegedly and Chris Eubank Jr. have been urged to resolve their legal dispute over Eubank's rant about Warren at a news conference before Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol's undisputed light-heavyweight world title fight.

Warren, the 73-year-old promoter of Beterbiev and former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, is suing Eubank, 35, over a series of derogatory comments during a promotional event in London in September.

Eubank apologised later that day and Warren said in a statement that he accepted the apology, but sued Eubank for slander and libel at London's High Court in December.

Neither Warren nor Eubank attended court on Friday for a preliminary hearing to determine the "natural and ordinary meaning" of Eubank's comments and subsequent social media posts.

Warren's lawyer Richard Munden said Eubank's statement was "about as strong and direct a slur as can be imagined" and argued viewers would be given the impression that Warren had defrauded boxers he promoted over the course of 20 years.

Eubank's lawyer Victoria Jolliffe, however, argued in court filings that viewers would know boxing news conferences often feature "combative but entertaining verbal blows" and that Warren's lawyers were overcomplicating what Eubank said.

Judge Robert Jay said the meaning of Eubank's comments was that Warren had "frequently been guilty of lying and cheating in his business dealings as a boxing promoter."

The judge urged the parties to try to resolve the dispute outside of court, saying: "If you don't want to mediate, fair enough, you are entitled to a trial. But I would have thought this type of case is capable of being mediated."

Eubank Jr. vs Benn not sold out as ticket prices drop

With only two weeks remaining, the UK grudge match between Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn has failed to sell out.

World Boxing News can report that ticket prices are dropping for the event, which will see the sons of two boxing legends battle it out in a personal match.

Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn predicted the ‘epic showdown’ Eubank Jr. vs. Benn would be the UK’s biggest fight. However, sales would have disappointed the Essex man who was involved in Anthony Joshua’s events, which sold out in hours.

Former world champions and Hall of Famers Chris Eubank Sr. and Nigel Benn are expected to attend their offspring’s boxing match, which DAZN will broadcast worldwide via pay-per-view.

As of April 12, prices are down at least 25 percent in some sections of Tottenham’s Premier League home, and Premium Hospitality packages are also falling in cost.

The news comes hours after the release of the Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn trailer, produced by budding filmmaker and Ring Magazine owner Turki Alalshikh.

Saudi Arabian matchmaker Alalshikh also produced the trailers for boxing events ‘Knockout Chaos‘ and ‘Day of Reckoning,’ both of which have been added to his IMDB credits.

Despite their father’s rivalry, Eubank Jr. vs. Benn tickets remain for those yet to purchase at lower prices than when first released.

What I can see is that there are high end tickets available in different areas, and some of the £500 ones available. Generally most of the lower option and what I'm guessing, what the maximum amount the general working boxing fan would pay are almost gone.
