I was taken back by the way he addressed the Brazilians.

Dude has some balls, that's for sure. I haven't heard anyone address an arena full of people like that in a real combat bout before. the starching of Lyoto was just insult to injury. Not a good night for the Brazilians.

I find it hard to believe Bisping or GSP will be fighting again in 3 months.

Freddie roach will be in the cage cornering GSP, he's looking forward to it, roach has always shown an interest in MMA

Is he the main trainer or just a striking coach ?
It would seem odd that he would be a trainer in MMA for someone of GSP's calibre.

just striking coach I think, but I think he'll be the main man giving GSP advice in the cage on the night from what I'm reading
He also helped sort the deal out for getting GSP back fighting or something like that

Makes sense this. GSP main weakness is striking, IMO his taking of digs isn’t his strong point. Who better to sort that out than Freddie. Defense has never been his forte

Dillashaw v Garbrandt should be a top fight as well.

Really torn as to whether to order this PPV. TJ/Cody is a huge fight, Thompson/Masvidal is great too, and JJ/Rose is solid enough even though it's a little mismatchy. But that Hendricks fight is garbage I don't care about at all, and I really can't muster much interest in the main event. Bisping is basically the worst MW champ ever, and GSP is coming off a 4-year hiatus (after already showing signs of decline in his last couple of fights) and fighting in a higher weight class.

Thought TJ would lose. But damn!!!
And Rose KOing Joanna wass crazy. She looked to be the better striker since t he start.

Whittaker is going to destroy GSP. They both looked slow and old tonight.

I dont agree with that. Maybe underestimated her opponent.... but she wasnt charging head first, chin out, swinging like she was invisible like Rhonda did....

I'll be surprised if he stays at 185. And if he does, it's not a sure thing for Whitaker to win. Besides getting gassed early, I thought GSP looked great.

I didn't end up buying the card. Sounds like I made the wrong decision.

Fantastic win for GSP. One of the better comeback wins for a fighter in Combat Sports. Very rare to see a guy come back from such a long layoff to get a win of that caliber.

Really? I thought he looked quite slow, though so did Bisping and until that left hook he was pretty ineffective. Even once he was able to get Bisping down he got his ass kicked while on top. Whirtaker is better everywhere other than cardio than Bisping.
He's not fighting Whittaker he deflected as soon as Joe asked him if was gonna stay at the weight. He knew Bisping was maybe a top 5 MW and it was his best shot at achieving something not many do.

I'm surprised you're not picking Romero. Great card.
