According to the latest PR poster, less than 1000 general sale tickets remaining.
Hmmm .... Well they have lied twice about the volume of sales so...

The main thing that made the tickets look bad last week was they got the coach package tickets turned into normal tickets. They then appeared on the seat map.

I haven’t gone through the hundred odd pages on this phenomenally long thread, but I think I’m right in saying that this is a middleweight fight and both have to come in to the ring at 160, no rehydrating….
I’m not sure how debilitating this will be for Junior, and If the fact that his chin got cracked a couple of fights ago, could play a part here, if his legs aren’t there.
And is Benn really a puncher, or not? Putting aside the fact that even if he is a legitimate puncher at 147, he’s going to struggle to carry up to 160, I’ve seen a lot of people saying that as he’s not juicing, he’s gonna lose his punch, but I don’t think there’s any real evidence that juicing actually makes you suddenly a puncher. It’s all about timing, speed and leverage usually.
I mean take someone we know who juiced, big baby Miller, he didn’t suddenly turn into a massive puncher.
And if we’re not still pretending that Evander Holyfield was clean throughout his career, he was never a puncher either. It’s a dark, subject and very murky, a game of shadows as they say in baseball.

It's not that dark of a subject. I would wager 80 to 90% of Pro athletes over 35 are on some sort of Performance Enhancer. People just need to grow up, and accept it's part of the game. Wanting athletes to be Steroid free is about as realistic as wanting World Peace or a World without Homelessness.
If you want sports without steroids. It's called Little League.
As for Eubank vs Benn. I'm personally not that intrigued by it, but I'd imagine with all the personal animosity it has potential to be a good action fight.
I don't really expect much out of either of these guys going forward though.

Yes I agree with this. I never really understood the argument that Benn turned into some ferocious puncher. He was 19 when he turned pro with hardy any amateur background and he was also still developing physically. The two stoppages that people often point to (Algieri and van Heerden) are more likely down to them just being past their best.
I won't pay to watch it but am intrigued with how it goes, I still think Eubank has too much but he's getting on a bit now, has been stopped (although I still think the elbow from Smith was what hurt him) and the weight might affect him so makes it more of an interesting fight.
As you say plenty of greats potentially cheated but were never caught or tested like they are today. Mike Tyson wrote in his book he used a fake penis with someone else’s urine inside it to pass some of the piss tests he done.

Is anyone here buying it?
Yeah I’ll have to buy it. I don’t have much luck with streams. I get frequent buffering and more often than not it’ll just stop altogether. It’s no way to watch a big fight.

Anyone who has already voted beginning to change their mind on the outcome of the fight?

I'm happy, I voted draw because I couldn't give a toss who wins and I still don't. It means nothing in the scheme of things.

Found it cringe when I saw benn step off a private jet with two luxury cars waiting for him acting like Mayweather when he hasn't even fought for a British title. Probably the boxing version of katy Perry space (not really space) flight

He's going to earn more in the next week than most of us would earn in several lifetimes, and he's not even a very good fighter. I wouldn't mind being as idiotic as that.

Yeah not disputing that And fair play to him, definitely.
Still an idiot though.

He will but it's more down to good luck than good judgement
Conor doesn't strike me as the kind of chap who'll be careful with his new found riches and prudently invest for the future. A slow and steady slide to penniless anonymity awaits him via the usual staging posts of misfits, reality tv, fitness influencer etc etc

On talkSPORT last week it was reported as 10 million each (can’t remember if that was pounds or dollars).
Seems very high to me.

Be prepared for a controversial (possibly early) ending to this .
