Don't know about that. My dad got Connie to eat the brain, then she wanted to kiss me, I said "no way babe, go wash your mouth first"

Swedish potato pancakes are quite good. The batter is milk, eggs, flour and salt into which you mix roughly grated potatos. Then you fry them in a skillet, and serve with bacon and lingonberries. I had them when in Sweden. Delicious.

I've never eaten the Jewish style like Hammer describes, but I understand they are quite good too.

Tom it is possible that I may like some of that Swedish food, but unless you go to Sweden, here in America no place to try it.

In all seriousness, most Swedish food isn't that remarkable or delicious. A lot of Swedes don't like the traditional Swedish fare. There are many foreign food restaurants in Sweden (Greek, Italian, French, etc.) featuring international menus. In my ancestoral home of Karlshamn, a popular gathering spot is the Irish Restaurant and Bar.

I would think Minnesota would have it, considering many people of Swedish ancestry there, also as far as Irish food, I have tried shepards pie, which I liked but haven't tried other dishes.

Hey Panzerfaust . . . I assure you if anybody in Southern Cal sees something like this on your plate, nobody will bother you!
Be sure to let us know when you are going to be here. Maybe we can get a few of the guys together and tip a few. I can see you get to Freddie Roach's Wildcard Gym, if you'd like? Maybe meet a few boxing people. We are overdue for a major earthquake. Who knows, maybe it will strike while your here and you can join in the fun? :oo

By the way, of all the pics of food that are posted here, this one deserves an award. Definitly an original! :OhYes:

Watched the Quarry vs Chavalo fight on youtube, reminded me of a fight when Rafael Ruelas was unbeaten he fought a guy Mauro Guiterez, everything is going fine until Ruelas is dropped, he wants to give himself a few extra seconds but he loses track of the count and rises at ten for a knockout loss. :witzend:

??? Good question. LA really loved Magic, but IMO Kobe is as good as anybody who ever played in LA.
I think Magic had a lot more personality, but Kobe is pretty amazing.
