Thank you Silkov. :TU:

I want to ask you more, does former WBA Heavyweight Champion Jimmy Ellis stands 6 feet 1 inches tall, and do you know how long are his arms in reach, 76?

Yeah, 6 feet one is right. :TU: .. don't know about his arms!... :x .. he started off fighting as a welterweight... 8)

Thanks Silkov

But actually Ellis started at the middleweight and he fought Rubin "Hurricane" Carter. I believe Ellis has the 76 in reach, because nobody added his height and reach on his record.

Hi Kovit.
I can tell you the answers to some of your questions:
Scott Ledoux is 5' 11.5" tall.
Jimmy Ellis has a 73.5" reach.
Jimmy Ellis' lightest professional fighting weight was 155lbs and his heaviest was 205lbs.
Hope this helps :-)

Thanks SteveO. :TU:

Who did Jimmy Ellis fought when weighs in 205lbs, it's not the first Joe Frazier's fight, because he weighs in at 201lbs. Please tell me what is the reach of Ellis' opponents George Chuvalo and Jerry Quarry? I tried to look for Quarry's reach in his website, but they never mention it. They did show Oscar Bonavena's reach which is 73 1/2". Please help me what is George Chuvalo and Jerry Quarry's reach? :D

No problem Kovit - I collect data too.
Jimmy Ellis weighed 205lbs in his fight against Carl Baker on 7.5.1975.
George Chuvalo has a 77" reach.
I'll check my record books tomorrow and see if I can find Jerry Quarry's reach measurement for you.
I've been reading through your posts and I'm sure I can answer some of your outstanding queries, for example Rex Layne's height is 6' 2".
You can e-mail me directly if you want, to save cluttering up the messageboard.

Thanks SteveO. :TU: Man Ellis was 7 pounds overweight more than in the 2nd Frazier fight. Hey when you find out about Jerry Quarry's reach, please help me to find out what was Cleveland "Big Cat" Williams' reach?

Kovit.
I found two references to Jerry Quarry's reach: one says 72" the other says 76.5" I don't know which one is correct!
I didn't find any mention of Cleveland Williams reach measurement yet, but I'll continue the search tomorrow.
Whilst searching the record books, I found out some boxers heights that you had asked about previously:
James Broad = 6' 3.5"
Eduardo Corletti = 6' 1"
Mike Shutte = 6' 3"
I do not have any info on Larry Middleton or John 'Dino' Dennis.
If you need to know more, please e-mail me directly (click on my name in the 'last post' column) :-)

Thanks Silkov and SteveO. Please one of you each tell me is Roy "Tiger" Williams standing at 6'5" and how long are his reach?

Hi Silkov. Sorry to intrude on your thread, but I thought you might appreciate some help after all this time :-)
I've just read a Muhammad Ali-Cleveland Williams fight report that mentions Ali's longer reach, so at least we know that Williams reach was less than 82". That's the best I can do on that question.

I think Roy was 6 feet 5.... he was a big guy certainly. I think Williams reach was 80inches.... not certain though!.
Good to have the extra help Steve!   ....this thread can get rather demanding!... :-? :-? :-? :x     8)

I think it was Pascual Perez who was just 4 feet 10... Matlala was 4 feet 11 I think?....

Pascual Perez is listed in Box rec as having been 5 feet tall which I'm sure is wrong as I have read in the guinness book of records that Pascual was 4 feet 10.... he is also listed in Ring Boxing ENcyclopedia as being 4 feet 10 and a half... which is the same height as Jacob Matlala (according to boxrec). I'm sure that Pascual wasn't 5 feet tall...... what do you think Broncano?...

Silkov, does Gerry Cooney stands at 6'5" or 6'6". I heard Larry Holmes got interview and told them that Cooney stands at 6'7". For SteveO, Buster Mathis Sr. have a long arms, and how long are his reach? Please tell me.

I think Cooney was 6 feet 6....... but I've read conflicting things saying he was 6.5 and even 6.7..... but having seen him fight feel he was 6.6 myself.  8)

Yes, Gerry Cooney is definitely 6' 6".
Can't find Buster Mathis' reach measurement though :-(
If anyone knows former WBO heavyweight champion Francesco Damiani's reach please let me know.

6'6" is correct for Cooney, and how come Larry Holmes said he was 6'7"? This is for SteveO, please tell me how long are Cooney's reach?

ahhh! the perils of the different units of measure. Pascual Perez was 152 centimeters tall (1.52 m) which translates into 59.84 inches (4 feet 11 3/4 inches-- <almost 5 feet>). My guess on Matlala was an uneducated one, but if he reallt is 4'10" that would make him shorter than the great Pascualito, because that measurement is the official one from the Boxing Federation of Argentina. :TU:

Thanks SteveO :TU: , and that means that Cooney have the same reach as Holmes at 81". Let me ask you more, please tell me how long are former light heavyweight, and cruiserweight champion Dwight Muhammad Qawi's arms in reach?
