If things like this continue to happen here in the UK. No one will want to fight here.

Serious question. How is it ok in professional sport that you have a guy from the country of one of the combatants? You dont see this kind of shit in a lot of other sports.

Those joke artists only enforce a mandatory every 2 years don't they?
There was no mention of a mandatory before Gonzalez, then all of a sudden, he left Warren and a mandatory was on the table. It will all depend on politics, Warren has influence with the WBO and Hearn's fighters losing will benefit him.

Let's be honest, who can blame Ward for not wanting to come over here and fight Froch?!

How do you imagine they go about getting a judge to give it 8-4 burns? I just can't see it at all. Burns is tough with that jaw but Beltran deserved the title.

I don't know why foreign fighters come to the UK.

The stink of corruption over here is nauseating.

Judges, referees, promoters, often the commentators and analysts too (though not the latter tonight though). Unless you can hit like Shavers and take it out of the judges hands simply don't come and fight here, it is open, barefaced robbery, the worst in the boxing world.

i can understand Beltran saying he would want a rematch in USA but i really cant see that happening , if theres a rematch i can see it being on an undercard of a big fight ie carl froch , to kind of pretend theres less home advantage

Easy money!
;D
Paddypower had Beltron 1|14 on at the start of 10 and by the start of 11 they'd suspended betting says it all really.

That fight was a clear scoring fight cant see how anyone could score it any different than 115-112 for beltran. Burns won rounds 1,6,7,11,12 lost the rest and knock down in 8th to lose extra point

I put a bet on Beltran outright after the third round because it was obvious at that point that he was going to win, well I thought it was obvious

Really fancied the 28/1 on a draw at start, wish id taken it now. No reason for it but often chuck a cheeky bet on the draw when its a remotely even contest

He was even 9/4 then when he started at 7/2 My brother jumped on it then, he's gone to bed in disbelief, he's only a casual fan and is losing interest quickly......

Apparently Burns has to face Terrance Crawford as mandatory next.
