Fair play mate, I hope you're right. I think it's a mismatch.Neil Gee wrote:I'm looking forward to this fight, they keep saying that it's Groves talk that has built the fight up but I fancied it because I watched Groves beat Alcoba and thought he was a star in the making.keithmoonhangover wrote:Haye talking sense. Groves shouldn't have wound him up. I've said it before, Groves is open to the uppercut - he stands with his head to far forward.

I don't know about fortitude but Naz never fancied a "battle" from Kevin Kelley onwards.SouthpawStephen wrote:I think Naz admires Froch's fortitude... something he doesn't have.

Woodhall talking shite about Froch's chin like he can't be hurt, ignoring that Taylor, Kessler and Robin Reid hurt him.

Sky are taking the piss here. How long can they drag this shite out.
Re: Froch-Groves RBR *Spoiler alert*
Groves is on his way out, silly having Woodhall and Nelson in the ring - no need; go on George.

Or are you just exaggerating...[/quote]
Ok Slight exaggeration. On 29/11/96 we were treated to 7 world title fights that night including 3 heavyweight title fights! We were treated with Tyson v Holyfield, Moorer v Botha, Akinwande v Zolkin, Ricardo Lopez v Ndumo, Benn v Collins, Hamed v Molina, Winky Wright v Bingham plus Herbie Hide, Scott Welch, Carl Thompson, Michael Brodie and Danny Williams on the undercards. Now tell me tonights shite matches that!
Which PPV cards are you talking about? Don't think I knew about these cards that had 8 World title unifications on them between 2 of the top 3 fighters in the division.Ketchel wrote:Keith I remember the early days of PPV and they were special nights. Stacked cards from UK then over to the States for another stacked card. Those days were like 8 Froch v Kessler fights on one night! Not this crap. My God, even Don King would put this card on for free its that shite.keithmoonhangover wrote:I agree 100% mate. Undercard is sh1te, but I paid for the main event. I'd rather I didn't have to, but I think it's worth it.Ketchel wrote:But Keith this is pay per view. Nothing so far tonight justifies PPV. No more than standard fair that Sky used to serve up with Warren. This is poor even by Matchroom standards.

On a separate point does anyone know if Khalid Yafai is fighting later or if he fought earlier? Or if his fight and Scott Cardles fight got canned very late on?
Re: Froch-Groves RBR *Spoiler alert*
Adam Booth just said on 5live that Groves "stood Froch on his head" in Froch's final spar before the 1st Kessler fight

We've seen the best of Froch, hoping for a Groves win to freshen things up.

They don't at all. I was just making a point you were exaggerating. And I'd suggest that is better than every PPV we have ever had including the ones before the Eddie Hearn era.Ketchel wrote:[
