Ok I've got a new theory... Tyson was involved with David Haye and Chisora in a 'daisy chain' situation....

Unfortunately Chisora had to pull out due to a herpes infection. During the daisy chain binding, Tyson was also infected and thus had to pull out (of both Chisora and the fight.)

There is no word on whether Ustinov was involved..... Are we getting closer to the truth?

Seems like loads of people now know the truth tho ,as loads have PMed me knowing the real reason yet FairPlay out of respect have not posted it :salut:

What i find really funny tho is the Fury haters that also know the reason and won't post it because it will exonerate Fury an stop all the new hate being thrown at him since pulling out

Fury has gone up a peg in my book keeping mum an taking the flack on his shoulders rather than his family come under even more pressure than they already are with the uncle being really ill .
Well I've been a big fan of Furys for a while , not so much his boxing skills but definetly a fan of the way he generates interest and to an extent comedy , which i put most of his comments down to tongue in cheek , however , crying he was set up and pulling out shortly after his cry , well it leaves a sour taste , he did'nt give a fack for all the people who spent there hard earned buying tickets , hotel rooms ect .
I've read on here insinuations theres more to it and good reasons for the pull out One thing i read is Peter stabbed hughie ,, wether or not its true i don't know .
If its true it would explain a lot , but realisticly , if you go stab someone and it ends up critical , the police get involved and people GET ARRESTED , so that sort of throws water on that fire does'nt it .

But coming on here , calling people who are upset it cost them money IDIOTS , , because you claim to know the full story and they don't , is being a facking IDIOT yourself ,, if you know the truth ,, say it , man up tell it has it facking is , Has Tyson would say , grow a pair of balls and stand by what you say ,

Other than that Pm me , cos i'm a nosey cant . :DD :TU:

fury bottled the fight, plain and simple. whether his apologists are now trying to hang that on some other secret excuse is another boring matter.

No idea what happened. I’ve no inside friends.

What I know is that Tyson Fury could be a big star. He has cross-over appeal. My mates who are big sports fans but don’t follow boxing are a great measure for this. They heard about Haye and would watch the fights with me. Then they got into Froch as he became a mainstream star. Now they have started to ask me “who is this Tyson Fury?”

For these guys to even know his name tells me he is breaking into the mainstream. But he needs to be in fights. He’s super entertaining. I worry they are missing opportunities and nt progressing as a boxer.

If I were him I’d play up the gentleman act, the singing, the jokes… I think this will help him. He’s already very interesting to the man on the street.

Whats the point ,, they would not do anything about it , EVEN if they could , which they can't .

Its up to the paying people to do something about it , and NOT BUY TICKETS , ,i'VE SAID IT BEFORE I THEINK tYSON WITH THIS LITTLE FIASCO HAS SET HIMSELF BACK YEARS , .I seriously doubt , many believe the story and just think he bottled it . , anyone else could of got away with we hav'nt prepared and were not risking it .

Tyson though , cos he comes from fighting stock , the meanest, hardest, baddest ,fighting stock the world has ever seen . well he can't use that excuse , so his uncle getting sick has to do ,,, how is he by the way , Has he rcovered from his illnes ,, err stab wound ,, err or was it he got shot ,, , I'm not sure i'm still waiting for my PM .

Yep i think Tyson has facked up , , he's let the world know he's human and not actually a superhero come alive from the comics , , he's done untold harm to the gypsy myth , that if your a gypsy especielly a fury gypsy your one of the hardest men on the planet ,, IT WAS GOING SO WELL , even half the internet forums were beginning to claim gypsy heritage , and some who were not gypsys , were stating the next best thing ,, I knnaaaw a gypsy , , does that make me hard has well ,,

Oh well , perhaps , its time to learn ,, pakistanis are the hardest , baddest men out there , cos have a look at china chin Khan ,, he don't give a fack , he's just has dillusional , has Super hero Fury , but he will fight anyons ...

C'mon now all you lovers and jock sniffers , tell me how wrong i am , Oh and by the way ask Tyson if he's gonna refund any money that was lost in hotels tickets , ect , Paid out of there hard earned dosh , by working class fans ,,

I mean he spends 10 grand at the chippy , whats a couple of grand token money to some of his loyal fans . ,

Peter has today made it known that Hughie is still in a coma. If my brother was in such a critical state, I wouldn't feel like working either.

It's a tricky one, but with all the other issues with Fury's career I feel he should have carried on. Especially as he likes to talk about himself as a proper hard man, i.e. like the guys from the old days, a throwback to when 'people weren't all soft' etc.

The show must go on in boxing, now he's losing/lost the faith of a lot of people, do you think fights in 1950 stopped because someone's uncle was in hospital? Fury has made his own bed with this one in a way, if he hadn't mouthed off so much about other people pulling out with 'little injuries' then he wouldn't look quite so bad now for doing this.

Personally I think he bottled it, Ustinov just that bit too live and dangerous and last minute, big potential for him to derail their plans.

Who says Tyson didn't want to fight? Maybe Peter wasn't up for it and pulled the plug after hearing the news about his brother and wanting to get to his bedside.

That it's a family set-up makes it different. If the trainer and the fighter weren't blood relatives, it may have played out differently.

I spoke to Tyson's father in law today. He said that his uncle had an operation and had a blood clot that went to his heart - a terribly serious situation. He also said that he thought that 'the powers that be' in boxing were trying to do him over re the Ustinov situation. He said that Ustinov had been training solid for him and his condition was far better than a sparring partner would have been. The money on offer for Ustinov wasn't worth the risk, Jimmy said that Tyson was having a bit of time off, that he'd been messed about and that the last 12 months had cost him a fortune.

I think they should stick to the story that it's Uncle Hughie's illness that forced the wthdrawal and keep the conspracies to themselves. His illness is genuine and pulling Tyson out because of the strain on the family is acceptable.

The stuff about Ustinov being in great shape, etc, has all the hallmarks of a swallow.

It's just his wife's father's opinion, he's got a jewellers in Doncaster town centre. He's no need to lie, if he felt he was being set up on top of everything then it's added pressure.

Personally I'm past caring about the whole Fury circus. Whichever way you look at it, Fury has now managed to avoid fighting both Price & Ustinov - 2 dangerous punchers - under dubious circumstances.

He can go back to fighting blown-up cruisers & non-punchers as far as I'm concerned, I never thought he'd be a genuine world level heavy but it now seems Tyson & his family agree.

So he didn't want to fight Ustinov because he was in shape? So we will only fight people who are out of shape?

I can understand the Uncle situation but if the fact that his opponent is in shape puts him off, then how can he bang on that he would fight anyone, anytime etc..

I think the gist of it was that he'd spent a long camp training to fight Chisora and then got the switch a few days before. The feeling was that Ustinov had been in camp specifically to box Fury - that obviously puts Fury at a disadvantage. If he felt it was set up and the money was far less than he was supposed to be paid v Chisora then it's just not worth the risk. It's not a fair bout and with his uncle seriously I'll it'd be better to write it off and fight another day.

So Fury was happy to fight a bloke who he thought wasn't fit, but when he looked as though he had trained he pulled out?

What risk? - Fury is the self proclaimed "best heavyweight on the planet" and had a solid training camp, surely he could beat a late replacement ?

Finally, if he wanted to earn money then he shouldn't have pulled out of the fight.

Most of what he says centres around the "I will fight anybody, anytime, anywhere" stuff, but he won't be able to say that anymore.

He also won't be able to use this to slag off Haye or Chisora.

What us he going to say now? - what is going to be his "angle" or USP to sell himself and the fight ?

I also wonder how many people who had taken time off work, travel expenses, hotel expenses and ticket costs would be willing to do it again?

I presume that Fury would have asked for proof of Chisora's injury - like an x-Ray?

If so, how could it have been a set up?

This it was a set up conspiracy is absolutely laughable. It's all a load of face saving blarney
As I've said before if it was Haye he was going to fight for 4 million then Peter would have gone to work .

Point 1 ,, his uncle is very sick OK acceptable , but why are so called experts, on here alluding to his uncle being stabbed ect .

Point 2 The guys been training for weeks to fight Tyson ,, BOLLOCKS ,, that means he had advance notice of Chisoras injury .

Point 3 ,,, HE bottled it plain and simple ,, he seen a guy the same size in shape and bottled it

Point 4,,,, He better get used to fighting guys in shape because to be honest ANY HEAVYWEIGHT who does'nt get in shape at this present time should be ashamed and give it away ,, theres NO ONE about thats setting the world on fire, so most in shape boxers have a chance , at the crown ,

I doubt he would even fight Brown , a big solid , snail with only a punch and NOTHING ELSE .

I'm sick of listening to the were a FUREY and were supermen shit , and then blatanly ducking everyone

So, there is a chance that Fury would have fought had Ustinov came in at 320lbs like a beached whale, who had literally just got off the sofa, but as soon as he thought he had to face a version who had been training for 8 weeks instead, he and his team decided against it?

I've always maintained the Fury's were looking for a "blagged" title shot or a big cash out fight ( it was Haye ) without facing a real threat. Ustinov isn't anything special by a long way though and Fury should have beat him soundly.

Pulev was too risky given he would have been favourite against Tyson and the purse wouldn't have been big enough for it to be considered the big cash out fight. Same with Price. Haye would have knocked him out but picking up a few million for his troubles would have eased the pain for Fury.

I like Fry but he has lost face in this episode. I thought Chisora was a relatively mediocre opponent to begin with, again, no real power, plods and clearly something of a good level gatekeeper. Ustinov wasn't any better. Now we have to wait a few months just to see the original Chisora fight! I was hoping we would see him in with a high level heavyweight by the end of the year.

The plan seems to be, beat Chisora then hopefully sit on a mandatory shot, fighting light punching opponents who are a lot smaller before cashing out against Wlad.

They may be right and Jimmy's got the wrong end of the stick. He's no reason to lie to me, we say hello all the time, I'm a window cleaner and he's a jeweller - a really decent fellow. I'd not lie either, the feeling was that Chisora was injured weeks ago and Ustinov really picked it up, training for Tyson. Ustinov was certainly in main event shape for a sparring partner.

Fury had spent 8 weeks training toward fighting Chisora which would have a different game plan to boxing Ustinov. Fury was also psyched toward boxing Chisora with no mental focus on boxing anyone else. If Ustinov had prior knowledge of Chisora's injury and he's training hard with a focus on Fury then Ustinov has an obvious advantage. Training injuries are hushed up all the time. If my uncle was in intensive care the day before a big fight then my mind wouldn't be focussed on the bout either, if I also thought I was being set up to be knocked off I'd have a bit of time out as well.

so much for being afraid of no one and up to fight any man any time blah blah blah, he must be quite fragile mentally but he does not seem like the type of bloke a sports psychologist could help.
