Whilst neither sells out the MEN, Crolla had c.7,000 there last night whilst Flanagan has (at a guess) 3-4,000. Crolla is more well known (the BBC website did a round by round last night which is unusual for them) and his fanbase is growing. There's no way Hearn will allow it for a 50:50 split.

If Steve Wood was Crolla's manager then I doubt he'd be backing a sealed bids idea. It works in Flanagan's favour.

6k last night for Crolla at £40-100 and £200 VIP and 7k for Perez 2 in November at similar prices, 4k for Flanagan and Smith in October at £40-£300 and £500 VIP, think the cheapest floor seat was about £200. Be interesting to see how many they'd sell if they put Flanagan on with the same set up and pricing as Crolla.

They don't have to do it as 50/50 anyway, if Hearn's egos an issue then give Crolla an extra few percent and do the bids anyway, he doesn't actually need to be involved anyway because Crolla's on a fight by fight contract with him.

heard there was plenty of bother again at the Manchester arena last night? Seems the United fans finally getting on the Crolla bandwagon may have its negative points.

Each other I presume, just came from someone who was there said 'plenty of fights in the crowd, mostly united divs off their heads'

its a shame but we all know it happens from time to time.

That been said I was at the same venue when he won it and there was nothing of note going on from where I was sitting. Just a very loud/good atmosphere
