That's what I meant, jury is out if he is world level - but I would like to see him have a chance at world level again. Don't want to see him back at Commonwealth level.

jury isnt out at all. just got ko'd in 4. which other world level fighters has groves done that to.

Andy Lee would stop Cox as well. Let's not get over excited. He put in a good effort but he's not world level at super middleweight or middleweight

Not exactly, I don't want him to go back to Commonwealth level. Lets see him at Fringe World class. Although I think he deserve some credit, he was hanging in there well with IMO the #1 Super Middle in the World.

Bit of a difference in saying - I want to see Jamie fight at that level again, then Jamie IS at that level.

I dont think Cox is world class. Andy Holligan took Chavez 5 rounds and he wasnt world class. Just because you fight decent lads at world class level doesnt mean you should carry on that standard. Cox should go back to British level and other easier alternatives rather than mixing with Groves and the likes of eubank Jr. His level isnt world class.

Can only think they’ve been swayed by watching Eubank hammer one-dimensional, one-paced fighters who stand right in front of him with barely any head movement. As I say in an earlier post, he’s being carefully managed and his opponents have all been extremely similar (other than Saunders, who beat him).

Please God it's first weekend in Feb for groves vs jnr, missus booked a hotel London by spire last week for my 40th that weekend.

I doubt it. Andy Lee's defence of his title to BJS is possibly the most pathetic defence of a titlei have seen. Cox was impressive imo, he took the fight to a far more experienced world champion, I'd like to see him move through the levels more organically.

Cox missed a lot and was getting regularly countered.

He gave it a go and made it a fight, but didn't do half as well as made out by the commentators.

I know what you are saying here, but no one has touched Jr. Cox had a bit of a dig at Groves and hes not in that level. Eubank is dangerous.

Depends what Lee has left but he's stopped better level opponents than Cox before.

He could well be. I just won’t believe in him until I’ve seen him do it (successfully) against a proper live opponent.

Doesn’t have a proper roof though? Not like the Millennium where it fully closes anyway? Doesn’t the Wembley roof only cover the seating area?

Eubank is definitely dangerous. If Groves isn't in top condition I think it's definitely a possibility that Eubank is too busy for him. Groves doesn't look as fast or as sharp as he used to. I think Groves will be in shape though for that one. I'm not convinced he was in peak condition tonight.

The roof covers the seats but not the pitch. It doesn't close fully. I don't think it's suitable for a fight in the middle of winter.

I thought Groves looked old at times tonight, like the past wars might be catching up with him but fair play he found a great punch to end it. Be very interesting to see how Eubank copes with being hit flush by such a big guy like George but if he does cope then Groves could be in for a very hard night. Difficult to use this fight as a gauge to the next one as Cox is obviously a southpaw but he was aggressive and looked to rough him up despite being the smaller man, he matched up well on the inside at times and if Groves allows Eubank to do the same he could get into some trouble. GG needs to establish his jab more and control the distance better than he did tonight, he let Cox get inside and turn it rough far too easily. Right now I see Groves as the favourite but not in a big way
