people are going on about Seferi's weight etc.

Would Bellew be an acceptable opponent next time? (same weight as Seferi!!)

Wilder is barely 16 stone...and was less than that 2 fights ago.

Mike Tyson was only 15 stone something when he was a wrecking ball.

Its not about the weight, its about the quality of opponent. 95% of heavyweights are seriously outweighed and out 'heighted' by Fury.

Next fight, I care not about the weight, its all about the opponent being alive and dangerous. I would actually accept briggs as an opponent somewhere, at least he would throw bombs.

I suspect you'll get your wish.

Seferi would look like he was stretching if you put him in a European title fight at cruiser. That's the issue. Bellew would be taken seriously because he's had a couple of heavyweight fights and done ok. Haye came up and fought heavies, and had beaten all the cruisers first. Vander Holyfield was far and away the best cruiser when he moved up. This guy looked about British level, and tiny.

What was Gerry Cooneys weight against Holmes compared to Seferi’s?

Poor choice of opponent in the first place which would almost have been excusable but the size difference and larking about just made it all the worse as a spectacle which was multiplied by the anti climatic ending.

Needs to step it up a bit next time out if he wants to be taken seriously though.

The best thing to do with this fight is just totally disregard the first 2 rounds as Fury wasn't boxing, as soon as he got to work in the 3rd, Seferi was already looking ready to be stopped, that's fairly rapid which is the best we could've hoped for, if not for the first 2 rounds I reckon Fury probably could've broke even with that performance, the clowning in the rounds 1 and 2 and Seferi quitting after 4 has took the shine of what was already a shitfest, terrible matchmaking, a lot worse than De Mori and Gjergjaj who at least were normal size Heavyweights with padded records

He didn't do much in the 3rd and 4th either. Seferi was just a pathetic excuse for a man, and quit off of a little bit of nothing. Had no business ever being in the ring if he didn't intend to give a sincere effort.

Maybe that was the deal for probably the best pay day of his career ?
