He could hardly stand straight and he had been wobbles at least 3–4 times prior.
Ref saved him imo.
Smith also admitted one of the early shots messed up his equilibrium.

Maybe I'll just have to watch it the fourth time. Beterbiev was superior but I would have let it continue.

Beterbiev hits hard and he is accurate. If the ref had let it go longer, he could have endangered the health of Joe Smith Jr. Bert hits were going between Smith hands like in butter.
