I like Josh on pts, but I'm laying off. He might stop him.

Joshua on points, not much doubt in my mind. Small chance of late stoppage. As the fight unfolds folks won’t be able to believe how they gave Ruiz a chance. Just watch.

The problem for me is that once hurt it takes Joshua a few rounds to recover, as we saw against Whyte and Wlad. I think the difference is Ruiz really went at him and he knows he can hurt him this time. I think what happened in the first fight could easily happen again and that's what I'm leaning towards, although I hope I'm wrong.

Yes, agreed, his powers of recovery don't seem to be great, and he hasn't got a fantastic chin either. I wonder though if slimming down might help him, he did look awfully tired after he got dropped, I wonder if part of his problem is that when he gets hurt, his engine lets him down.

If he can get through 6 rounds without being hurt, he has a good chance, but Ruiz does seem to have the better stamina of the two.

I can see just about every outcome except Ruiz on points.

So Sanchez says Ruiz can not knock Joshua out even though he ruined him with a Decent shot but hardly a perfect shot and then even though Ruiz couldn’t seem to land a good shot again all fight still battered joshua. this makes no sense

Ruiz will win again. He has the mental edge and the physical hardness. Ruiz knows he will win, whereas Joshua hopes he will.

Always easy to read too much into this, but i agree Ruiz is way more relaxed in this interview.

This isn't a case of the winner rematching with newfound confidence after being afraid the first time, and that might be Ruiz's undoing. He'll do what he's always done and take the fight to Joshua. So unless he gets careless and walks onto another big shot — and he might, I think the ball's clearly in AJ's psychological court this time.

His ego might be his downfall, because he has the attributes to outbox Ruiz to a boring decision. Ruiz by KO or Joshua on points are most likely for me, because I expect AJ to be that little bit too cautious to finish the job if he hurts Ruiz again. Else he's not and it turns into a repeat. Or maybe Ruiz has eaten a few too many Snickers...

I've picked Ruiz by KO, but AJ has every chance to outbox him if he's disciplined throughout.

By the by, does AJ look bigger than ever to anyone else? After he slimmed down a fair bit, too. We'll see what the scales reckon. Could be an optical illusion that his arms look bigger because he's lost size elsewhere...

I picked something up from the gloves are off - I might be over analysing but Joshua said something about he doesn't want to fight like a bantamweight and go to a decision

^ I am not sure I believe this, I think for the last 3 months everyone in his camp has drilled into him that this fight needs to go 36 minutes

DAZN schedule has the undercard starting at 4pm UK time. Main fight at 8:45pm (very specific never seen that before)

They wanna make sure no one misses it. Because it’s in the Middle East. People are gna be very unsure about the timings.
