Oh, I believe you, Tony. I
believe you.
i absolutely believe that there is nothing you, as a spectator, can do to help a boxer whilst he is in the ring
but thank god he clarified that
otherwise i would have gone into the night of October 31st on tenterhooks, never quite sure when Usyk might be faced with the prospect of fighting, not just Derek Chisora, but a hyped-up Tony Bellew invading the ring with a metal chair, with which to hit Usyk, in aid of Chisora's efforts.
thanks for confirming, Tony, that this will unusually be a boxing match that is contested by two men alone.
fair play will rule on October 31st, everyone

I’m just glad that Chisora is guaranteed £4 million for this fight, when Sky can’t even be bothered to pick up Loma vs Lopez. Really great business for the boxing fan.

That is a staggering sum even pre-Covid.
I'm sure he'd have been made-up with £1m. Well done Del-Boy !

Totally I mean it’s not like Lomachenko is one of the best boxers on the planet or Chisora is just a gatekeeper of his division with almost double digit losses.

Nah, he'll be under the ring rocking the canvas to upset Usyk's footwork.

Can see it now. Bellew will be pundit and we’ll have to put up with him screeching instructions for however long it lasts.

I think, Usyk is more depressed from a creation of the new division. However, up to the date it's only WBC, hopefully the reason prevails and this sh!t gets boycotted.

£20 is a disgrace to watch this fight, which will be very one sided in Usyk's favour. A pointless spectacle.

Yes that is a massive amount if true, especially with no live gate revenue.
Usyk must be on the short end of the stick big time.
Should do 200k buys though which will largely cover Dels purse.

Carl Froch says Derek Chisora has proven he ‘doesn’t belong with the big boys at heavyweight ahead of Oleksandr Usyk fight
Former super-middleweight great Carl Froch appeared on talkSPORT with Jim White and Simon Jordan on Thursday and believes Chisora’s record suggests he will be no match for Usyk.
“It’s difficult to assess how Usyk will be at heavyweight because he hasn’t been there long. But such a top quality cruiserweight, it’s hard to write him off against any fighter in any division,” Froch started.
“We need to know what Usyk is going to be like under pressure from a proper heavyweight, someone with size and strength. Chisora has losses against [Dillian] Whyte, [Tyson] Fury, [Kubrat] Pulev, [David] Haye and [Vitali] Klitschko and you’ve got to say – I don’t want to give him any stick or disrespect or anything – but Chisora doesn’t belong with the big boys at heavyweight, does he?
“He’s proven he can’t compete with those top, top lads because he gets beaten every time he steps up in that sense.
“Usyk needs to not only beat Chisora, but he needs to do it in style and make a statement.”
This will be Usyk’s sternest test since stepping up in weight and Froch referenced Evander Holyfield when talking about how difficult it can be to make the move up.
“It took Evander Holyfield a couple of years to grow into heavyweight. Has Usyk got time to do that at 33 years old?
“He looked flawless at cruiserweight and one of the best that division has ever seen. Chisora is going to be the real test because he’s a true heavyweight.
“I struggle to find a win for Chisora here other than a knockout which you can’t rule out, but Usyk should comprehensively outbox him,” Froch concluded.

That figure has got to be pony? Say you do 200k (ambitious) buys at £20 quid a pop. That’s £4million. So where is Eddie’s and Usyk’s poke?
