Williams is a tough, strong man, no doubt about that.

He just got out boxxed and out hussled by a better, more accomplished fighter on the night.

No shame in that at all, he did about as well as anyone can expect and can go home with his head held high. He is still a force at British/Euro level.

Andrade was visibly hurt on a few occasions, but he could be elusive as to avoid the follow ups and spoil when necessary (more and more as the fight wore on).
Williams was also hurt several times but relied on toughness and fitness to see himself through.

That, for me, shows the difference. Andrade just has far more tools at his disposal and knows how to use them when it really matters.

I heard somewhere that they are very good friends and neither really wants the fight because of that.

Shame really, as that fight makes a fair bit of sense for both men.

Although I can understand where they are coming from, I'd much rather trade blows with some random foreigner than one of my best pals if I was given the choice.

Andradre's footwork was superb, probably the biggest single difference between the two.

i agree, come back at euro level, and try to get him in with opponents who wont crumble easily
Fair comment. Nobody expected him to win but I thought he looked really one-dimensional in there. Perhaps Andrade is just that good. Nobody has outclassed Williams like that. Andrade was looking exceptional early. You don't want to come out fast vs Andrade.

Footwork, head and body movement was on point.

Williams missed more shots than he had blocked.

thought it was a really entertaing fight, think liam was to gunho took a lot of unnecessary shots at times i think he is a lot better boxer than he gives himself credit for, andrade boxed really well great shots good hands powerful as well hurt williams a couple of times early or buzzed him, liam turned it a little when he hurt andrade shame there was more time in the rd, williams battled well had his spells at times and did hurt andrade a couple of times , but i thought andrade boxed well that upper cuts possible got him outta jail as he looked spent after rd 6 but won wide for me , i thought the reff was good as well

Yes the Fox win was good, but nowhere near enough grounding for an awkward bugger like Andrade, who hits fast and hard early doors.

Let's give Liam a proper chance next time and work away against serious european level opposition before jumping up next time :TU:
agreed but it was an interesting third round, could of turned into a tough night for andrade
