I hope they are really front and centre in the lead up to any fights. I can’t wait to sample some more of their unique esoteric wisdom and insights. Expect lots of stuff about going past the old methods, treating the fighter holistically, feng shui, cod psychology, new methods new AJ, and both of these repulsive chancers ecstatically extolling their amazing ‘connection’ with AJ, sprinkling the magic dust of their innovation and wisdom over their grateful, humble charge.

AJ camp is now must see television. The best it’s-funny-but-you-cringe-all-the-time show since The Office.

During a new interview on iFL TV, Fury took the microphone and asked Smith: “A couple of months ago Johnny Nelson done this question to you when he said, ‘Oleksandr Usyk is an average southpaw cruiserweight.’

“And I was actually very impressed with your thing – you were absolutely livid and you got absolutely boiling. Can you tell us a bit more about it?”

Smith replied: “Well I was doing an interview and Johnny just said he was an average southpaw.

“I took complete offence to that, I think he’s a fantastic fighter.”

And Smith continued: “I think he was a wonderful amateur, he was brilliant against Joshua and I thought that was a disgraceful thing for my good friend and colleague to say.

Wallin would be the most disappointing but the most likely. Joyce is busy for the moment and might not even beat Parker. Who knows what's going on with Wilder. Ortiz would probably take it now for the final payday but would make a fraction of what he was offered last time.

Joyce/Parker is a long way from being finalised. I watched an interview with Parker last week and he said that he and Warren thought they’d agreed a purse until they realised they were talking in different currencies.

Oleksandr Usyk and Vasyl Lomachenko given permission to leave Ukraine for fights against Joshua & Kambosos

The cultural minister of Ukraine has now offered both Oleksandr Usyk and Vasyl Lomachenko the chance to leave the country’s defence forces to train for potential next fights vs Anthony Joshua and George Kambosos Jr respectively, Bob Arum has stated.

Arum says the Ukrainian government believes that this would be a great angle for publicity if they let Lomachenko and Usyk leave to compete in their important fights.

If Usyk and Lomachenko leave Ukraine now, it’s unclear what the situation will be when they return in two to three months.

IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Usyk and Lomachenko, both Ukrainians, have been defending against the Russian invasion for weeks.

Usyk hasn’t said whether he’ll leave Ukraine, but Lomachenko reportedly wants to train for a title fight against IBF/WBA/WBC Franchise/WBO lightweight champion George Kambosos Jr. on June 5th in Australia.

If Usyk chooses to stay behind to defend against the Russians, Joshua will need to find another opponent for his next fight in June or July.

“Ukrainian government, which is tremendous, is cooperating with us as far as Lomachenko and also Usyk,” said Bob Arum to the Fanatics View. “They realize it’s a tremendous publicity angle for them to come out [of Ukraine] and train and participate in title fights [against Kambosos and Joshua]."
