Holyfield probably doesn’t get enough credit for the 2nd Lewis fight. He was really good in that one and bizarrely he looked like the puncher in there not Lewis.

Yes, Holyfield adapted for the rematch, Lewis didn't. And Holyfield was always a puncher.

A truly great fighter Holyfield.
No doubt he was chemically enhanced as most were/are. But like Canelo .. PEDs dont put muscle on chins or give you any more skills .. they do however allow smaller guys to compete against naturally bigger guys (.. who are probably on them too)

I didn't say Lewis would beat him inside but he was more than capable of hurting him with a long right hand,but like I said,fought safe,he didn't buzz Holyfield because he didn't open up..If Lewis had done that i'm sure he could have hurt him as much as Bert Cooper did

All top athletes were juiced and nothing changed today, no doubt about that.

Top cyclists get tested a lot more than boxers - and have shown the way how to do it. Micro dosing was one way early on, but now there are stuff to take to cover the stuff you take .. to cover the stuff you take ..
Its a finely tuned process nowadays.

I think the UFC are moderately cleaner than say 10 years ago by keeping a better eye on testosterone levels. You get less fighters these days looking like Alistair Overeem did against Lesnar in 2011, which was just nuts.

Lennox Lewis - Lewis could just about edge it,
Mike Tyson - This is a tough call, could Fury really hold him off for 12 rounds, did Tyson have 12 rounds in him.
Evander Holyfield - Actually think he maybe the one that causes Fury the most trouble.
Vitali Klitschko - Definitely goes to points - Draw (arguably was not around during Bruno's days)

Why wouldn't he have gotten up? He always does. As I've said, Lewis and Tyson can't.

He could suffer multiple knockdowns, doesnt mean he losses though? I just dont agree with what Bruno said. I think Tyson Fury would have held his own in his era too, he may not have won them all but he would have still been a world champ. He is better than Bruno.

The 'heart issue' was cleared up in 1995 but the story won't die. It wasn't a heart issue, it was a misdiagnosis because the hospital had his body pumped full of morphine. There's a more technical explanation on HBO pre fight before the Mercer fight for those who weren't there at the time.
He did go into the Moorer fight with a shoulder injury, but no heart problems.

Why wouldn't he have gotten up? He always does. As I've said, Lewis and Tyson can't.
That's because Tyson could take punches flush in the face from Razor Ruddock without blinking. If you have a chin like that, you're obviously not going to be in up and down wars.
In 17 years he was down three times, at the end of prolonged beatings, the third one against Lewis when he was well past it. How many times has Fury been down? That tells you about his chin.

getting up to win against deontay wilder is very different from getting up to win vs atg heavys
i dont doubt fury could keep getting up several times, but i can see a lewis repeatedly dropping him and staying in control. lewis can win rounds without scoring kds, unlike wilder for the most part

There's no 'think' about it. The UFC has cleaned up its act. That doesn't mean it's clean but it was the wild west. Like you say, Overeem, Wanderlei, Lesnar, Belfort are the obvious ones but there were loads absolutely taking the piss back int day.

i was talking about len, but as far as tyson, he was well past it vs mcbride and williams. and otherwise only went down on sustained beatings
i dont think fury would drop him or lewis anyway to make that an issue

Lewis is the only one who would definitely be clear favourite to beat Fury.
Therefore Evander wouldn't be far behind in the betting - close to pick.
Bowe defo could win, but which Bowe would turn up ? Too erratic.
Peak Iron Mike would be a 3/1 shot.
Fury isn't as good as Iron Mike or (say) Smokin' Joe, but come on - the size !
You only have to be competent to beat an ATG that is 4 stone and 8 inches smaller.

Peak for peak - it's a miss match with Bowe blowing away Wilder very quickly. If a fat slob like Fury can stand in front of Wilder, then a technically superior fighter like Bowe simply demolishes Wilder as he likes
