Get in!
First fight of the year that might actually be any good.
Ajagba/Shaw sucked arse, hopefully this should be decent.
I got a tenner on Smith at 1.75 because I got in early.
Now come on Beefy, poppa needs a new, umm, maybe Dominos if thay are having a special and I pick up?

Looking forward to this fight, its not the best in the world but its better than a lot of s**t boxing is offering us at the minute, least they are not talking about fighting and are actually fighting
Fancy Eubank to win it

It's a decent bill - shame I won't be watching live, but there's no fornicating way I'm giving Sky another £20 for the privilege of watching it.

Good card but shame it's PPV, I'm rooting for Smith but feel Eubank might be too big and strong, in saying that Smith will make Eubank Jr work which he doesn't like to do on someone else's terms, Smith looked a bit shopworn in the Mwakinyo fight but he's a trier and going by what he's been saying and how he fights generally, he'll be targeting the Eubank body, we all know how Eubank's chin is but has he ever been in with a formidable body puncher?

Would have been a decent Saturday night fight on SKY but it's not a PPV worthy fight or card so I'll be giving this a miss. Hopefully this flops and so does the Catterall PPV and any other they decide to put on of such a calibre

Avoid spoilers and watch it a few days later on youtube.
It should be a decent scrap, and there is bugger all happening this month.

Brook wants to fight the winner.
Let’s see if he’s there Saturday night.

Shalom said he will be there. I find it quite sad. I’d hate to see him go back to middleweight.

It’s a big money fight on PPV.
He made decent money vs. Khan. But if the divorce rumours were who knows.

I’ve never seen Smith fight on the back foot as in boxing like groves and making CEJ come to him. If he actually can then that’s his win right there. If he fights his normal aggressive come forward style then I fear it’s curtains for smith. I expect Chris to stop Smith late or even points. Eubank needs to go through the gears tho and not coast or think he’s Roy Jones

He definitely split from his Mrs.
I genuinely think it’s more that he misses boxing too much and doesn’t know what to do with himself. Perhaps if he’d still been with his Mrs it would have been easier to adapt.

You know what say what you want about Eubank , but he does fight he does have a go and quite often punches above his weight , Auanders , Groives , ect , hve a go he does regardless of win or lose
Compare him to some of the heavyweights and Jeez he deserves the money no them

He can only get up for big fights. Always been the case for Brook.
Winner of Smith/Eubank is a big domestic fight and will do well on PPV according to todays standards.
He can fight Smith in Manchester and Eubank in London.

Less of a mismatch in terms of weight than Eubank vs Benn (the juniors). I cannot see why Eubank vs Brook could be made at the same stipulated weight as Eubank vs Benn and why cannot Brook vs Smith even be made at 154.
Amazing to think Eddie did not deliver Brook vs Smith when both were closer to their prime.

Eubank has the size and speed. Smith the skill.
Both men are dogged with great engines. Both will fight to the bitter end.
Eubank was completely and utterly out-boxed by Groves, It might be the same here. Williams was able to out-box him too but that could just have been Chris taking his foot off the pedal.
The early KDs sort of ruined the Williams fight as a spectacle.
Lot of respect for both men.

I thought he carried Williams in that fight.

George Groves is an all together different level to Smith in terms of straight out boxing ability - not saying Smith doesn't have better stamina, chin and heart.
Did Groves ever lose a contest if it wasn't for his chin / stamina. No boxer outboxed Groves to a points win and in all of his fights Groves was either ahead or was coming back into it after a slow start.

I'm looking forward to a great fight, styles will mesh well too.
I think Eubank should jump on Smith.
However ultimately I think Smith will be too cute and earn a clear points win.
