I thought Kevin Mitchell's son was turning over on it. He's good. I saw a young traveller beat him in the juniors this year.
Yeah that was a good bout could of gone either way I thought but varey just edged it. I hope your wrong about Mitchell turning over he’s still very young. Why are fighters rushing to turn over I think it was the worst thing Charlie Frankham did, turning over when he weren’t a man yetmickey1975 wrote: ↑22 Sep 2022, 11:58 I thought Kevin Mitchell's son was turning over on it. It was Kevin who tweeted it. To be fair to Conor, Varey is very good.smiling assassin wrote: ↑22 Sep 2022, 12:26Yeah that was a good bout could of gone either way I thought but varey just edged it. A welcome return ? ReallyBookiesmacker wrote: ↑22 Sep 2022, 11:53 Shannon Courtenay makes a welcome return to the ring against Gemma Ruegg
Ruegg was supposed to fight on the 15th September card and is still down for the October 15th rescheduled card?
Pat Butcher is back!!margaret thatcher wrote: ↑22 Sep 2022, 15:52 i dont think there are quite enough meaningless women's fight on this card![]()
Yep. Was embarrassed watching it on her behalf.Frostieballs wrote: ↑22 Sep 2022, 16:38 Anyone seen Shannon Courtenay on Celebrity SAS refusing to let her hands go against Callum Best (because she's a trained fighter)?
Personally I reckon Best would have smashed her to pieces if she had!
I wonder if it’s an additional £19.99 or whether it’ll be £12 for DAZN subscribers.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑23 Sep 2022, 07:12 So imagine you're paying £7.99 a month.. hardly getting any boxing..
then you gotta pay an extra £19.99 for this fight.
So that month you pay £27.98..
I thought the PPV would be around £12.99 or something, so the total for the month would be around £20 mark..
This is very cheeky.
Expect the same for AJ..
May as well just unsubscribe to DAZN.
Stream the regular cards and just see what the PPV's they offer, then decide whether to pay.
Can fight week after if you don't get stopped or cut.Bookiesmacker wrote: ↑22 Sep 2022, 11:53 Shannon Courtenay makes a welcome return to the ring against Gemma Ruegg

On the app, it tells me to re-sub £7.99 and then says i can choose the ppv as an add-on for £19.99maverick23 wrote: ↑23 Sep 2022, 07:34

Hmmm. Piss take if that’s the case. A £28 PPV with a crap undercard.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑23 Sep 2022, 07:45On the app, it tells me to re-sub £7.99 and then says i can choose the ppv as an add-on for £19.99maverick23 wrote: ↑23 Sep 2022, 07:34

It was the same as last week.
Told me to re-sub at £7.99 then get the ppv add-on for the £9.99..
For a main event between a fringe world level middleweight and a Euro level at best welterweight ffs.maverick23 wrote: ↑23 Sep 2022, 07:53 Hmmm. Piss take if that’s the case. A £28 PPV with a crap undercard.
Yeah - if it’s an additional £20 for the show then I might sack it off too. I’ve been fine with the value for money on DAZN so far but there aren’t enough good U.K. fights for the £8 a month as it is so charging another £20 for this is a piss take.CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑23 Sep 2022, 08:27For a main event between a fringe world level middleweight and a Euro level at best welterweight ffs.maverick23 wrote: ↑23 Sep 2022, 07:53 Hmmm. I’m one of the suckers who’s usually quite happy to pay £20 / £25 for a major fight but £28 for this just insults my intelligence.
I’ve kept my DAZN subs rolling along too long without much to show for it, this kind of rip off will probably see me cancelling it
I watch Sky PPVs through a now TV box so you can watch them without paying for Sky Sports.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑23 Sep 2022, 08:39 They can say we pay a sub for BT and Sky on top of their usual ppv's, but it's not the same.
No one sub's sky and BT just for Boxing. They do for the football, cricket, nfl, champions league, euro leagues. Boxing is considered a bonus.
Whereas DAZN uk have boxing, netball i tihnk and women's champions league for £7.99.. Then to pay an an additional £20.
They haven't officially announced the price, but it's clear..
That's the difference with the box isn't it?maverick23 wrote: ↑23 Sep 2022, 08:53I watch Sky PPVs through a now TV box so you can watch them without paying for Sky Sports.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑23 Sep 2022, 08:39 They can say we pay a sub for BT and Sky on top of their usual ppv's, but it's not the same.

They make it out as if you get a month of DAZN.tony1234 wrote: ↑23 Sep 2022, 09:21 Might as well scrap the subscription and just charge for PPV's as I doubt many will be paying a subscription just for tomorrow's card.
Or just let you buy the PPV without a subscription like you can do on Sky/BT Box Office, I don't have to pay for BT sport to pay for tomorrow's Joyce fight
