Some people on here were a bit optimistic about the bids.

I think it’s 50:50 this goes ahead.

Can see Dubois getting pulled out.

I've got one of those feelings as well. But then the payouts Queensbury will have got from his Don King purse and this purse will surely cover more than what they have invested in him. I've always gone by the assumption the promoter gets 20% in these spots tho so maybe I'm out.

Too big a purse to turn down, and if it goes bad Dubois can come back

2 million to get out boxed for 12 rounds? Easy pay day for Dubois.

I am struggling to see how Dubois will trouble Usyk. If he does, it will devaluate Joshua's performances against Usyk.

I’m surprised the bid was so low. I’ve been told repeatedly that Usyk now has all of Fury’s fans, except me, yet the bid is a 5th of Tysons mandatory….
Also, only one person other than me (Mav) has shown an interest to go. It’s a cheap weekend to see your favourite heavyweight! This place was full of people wanting to go to Wlad v Haye and Fury.

How much were you expecting?

Me and Mav both said around the $7m to $10m mark.

You did, I probably would have but after being told he has all the Fury fans now surely he should have been worth more. A 94,000 sell out at Wembley should have been easy for him so I’m surprised Matchroom didn’t bid $25m+ like they did for Fury v Whyte.

Where has someone said Usyk now has all of Fury's fans Mickey? Certainly some posters have noticed how much a lot of former Fury fans have had enough of his antics and turned against him, which is no surprise really. I can't recall anyone expressing that all his fans have now started supporting Usyk.

Wroclaw is home to many Ukrainians,” Krassyuk told TVP Sport. “The fight will take place at the stadium for 24,000 people. We had to change the date from August 12 to August 26. Because it is Ukraine's Independence Day. It's the perfect date to set up a fight with Dubois. We couldn't waste it.”

Ok. How many World Championship bouts are held on a Thursday

Funnily enough Canelo’s latest Cinco de Mayo was on the 6th. (A Saturday)

We all know the true measure of how popular a fight is, is how many are going in the coach from York with Mickey's mates.

It's the reason Hughie Fury vs Joe Parker was the Worldwide financial success that it was.

The fight won’t be on a Thursday though.

Krassyuk said it would be on the Saturday 26th.

Meh, Thursday, Saturday, there’s not a day of the week when Usyk doesn’t beat Dubois and after seeing him box Lerranga you’d think probably by stoppage.
If allegedly genuinely believed that Dubois would win as he said on his latest iFL interview then he’s have put in a big bid as it would be the easiest and cheapest way to put all the belts on Tyson Fury.
