What time these guys walking out!!
I think it's going to play out just like the Eubank-Liam Smith fight, I just can't decide which one.handsofstone wrote: ↑23 Apr 2025, 15:31 People still banging on about this not being a big fight, they're not world level, it's because of the dads etc etc, it's still a huge fight regardless, I can't wait tbh, I couldn't care less about size difference, sure it might have a bearing on the fight but both know what they signed up for and they're getting paid serious bread
I've always leaned towards Benn being too young and aggressive, just pressing Eubank and clocking him like Smith did first half but I've had a change of heart, think Eubank knocks Benn out , maybe early, Eubank starts fast himself sometimes but tends to coast, Benn hasn't looked the same since the test, but has got some good rounds in, I can genuinely see both guys knocking the other out and it won't be nothing to do with weight, it'll be about getting caught clean but you know if Eubank wins he's too big, if he loses he's drained meh
I was thinking the same when I posted thatkeithmoonhangover wrote: ↑23 Apr 2025, 16:45I think it's going to play out just like the Eubank-Liam Smith fight, I just can't decide which one.handsofstone wrote: ↑23 Apr 2025, 15:31 People still banging on about this not being a big fight, they're not world level, it's because of the dads etc etc, it's still a huge fight regardless, I can't wait tbh, I couldn't care less about size difference, sure it might have a bearing on the fight but both know what they signed up for and they're getting paid serious bread

I agree with your analysis and fear your prediction could be bang on the money.Jimmy2020 wrote: ↑23 Apr 2025, 05:59 I think Eubank Jr was head and shoulders above the level Conor is or will ever be but unlike most I wouldn't be at all surprised if Conor writes this version of Chris off. If that happens, it won't be a shock, or a great victory or any of the rhetoric we will hear, it will be an aging fighter who is fighting, and has been fighting, at a weight that is too low for him to be strong and virile - this will be the worst ever version of Chris Eubank Jr in terms of his raw physicality. Anybody who thinks Conor will not be the fittest, strongest, fastest, most powerful version of himself ever for this fight is deluded - he will be far, far more explosive than he was in those two fights in the USA.
Final Prediction: This should be easy work for Chris, I understand why almost everybody is picking him, but I'm going with a tide and time prediction. Conor Benn will stop Chris Eubank. Chris will be weak, off the pace and get his clock cleaned. Hope I am well wrong.
Wow, you guys are really nailing this.CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑23 Apr 2025, 20:25I agree with your analysis and fear your prediction could be bang on the money.Jimmy2020 wrote: ↑23 Apr 2025, 05:59 I think Eubank Jr was head and shoulders above the level Conor is or will ever be but unlike most I wouldn't be at all surprised if Conor writes this version of Chris off. For me there are shades of Haye Bellew here. A physically compromised guy earning the last big payday available to him by choosing to fight a manufactured rival who he’d have dealt with easily in his prime
If your referring to the Smith fight, even that was an elbow to the head.
Exactly how I see it going tooJimmy2020 wrote: ↑23 Apr 2025, 05:59 I think Eubank Jr was head and shoulders above the level Conor is or will ever be but unlike most I wouldn't be at all surprised if Conor writes this version of Chris off. When when he moved to 168, he said admitted he was a very small super middleweight. it didn't feel natural to himmargaret thatcher wrote: ↑24 Apr 2025, 03:54 eubank been at 160 for 6 of his last 7 fights (he was 164 in the fight he wasnt), and for most of his career. smw was just a brief spell for him. what's this all about fighting at mw now being some big detrimental factor? is it because of the rehydration clause?
people talk like he's moving down weights or something
