Have to agree, I think Breidis would have beaten Gassiev if he got the decision against Usyk. I scored the semi as a draw. It was a fantastic fight and the atmosphere was awesome. One of the best shows I worked on.

Alas, Breidis has not fought enough imo.

`Working on a deal` and being able to close a deal are potentially worlds apart

I think the mandatory defences are being pressed for now. We now know Fury isn`t going to be ready before the summer for a serious fight - I don`t see the sanctioning bodies being willing to wait for Fury with his record of wasting time with his BS.

So Warren himself just shot holes in Fury's utter bullshite. It was Fury asked for the rematch, then took it off the table to deliberately spanner the fight.

He must be livid, he's given a lot of time and probably money to, not to mention if he booked Wembley as he says, I'm guessing there is a deposit

I am surprised Fr+nk has stayed loyal to Team Fury except of course his love of a pound note.

The loss of the deposit on booking Wembley and legal fees will switch his allegiances sharpish.

It's a shame - I had actually really quite warmed to Fury, I was impressed by his comeback, and it was a good story, a feelgood journey, but since winning the belts, he's shown no real desire to make the big fights happen, and doesn't really seem concerned with being a proper champion.

I think Fury is waiting to see what happens on Saturday. If we see the Joshua of the Pulev, Ruiz 2 fights, he pipes up and this fight may happen next.

If AJ destroys Franklin ala Molina, Brezeale, - no chance this happens in the next 12 months.

Fury just needs to do one now to be honest. I'm surprised its taken so many on here to finally get with the programme in terms of the bollocks he spouts and the crap fights he takes.

Fury managed to come back from the lows of being cast as the villain in the media for his stupid comments and the PED issues by claiming they were a result of a breakdown in his mental health .. he convinced most people he was a sincere and lovable character since beating his demons. He was hero worshipped for how he got back to his feet in that Wilder fight, and I believe getting the draw endeared him further to the Brits who just love the underdog.

However, we have also seen an example of someone too emotionally and mentally weak to handle fame. And have seen his real character slowly emerge .. the foul mouthed bully; the serial liar, and the dishonest person too full of themselves to see reality .. it turns out the person we seen before the comeback was actually the real Tyson Fury after all.

It's quite a story indeed. From a low to a high .. and back again.

I’d imagine Fury will flaff around the rest of the year until his kid is born, and then want to do something next year as he starts to get old and past it.

Jordan did well holding him to account on the rematch. Last week on talkSPORT FW claimed Usyk asked for it.
