Fury's rating was reduced after his long inactivity on 2018-06-09. So the new 18 month period ends on 2019-12-09.

Isn't there a "can-crushing" punishment that will be triggered before December of this year?

Can a fighter get hit with both the inactivity penalty and the (lack of) quality opponent reduction for the same dates/date period?

No, inactivity is the most expensive penalty with the same result as a best opponent with rating 0.

Ali Eren Demirezen won his fight and went down from 69 to 70. Mario Daser did not win against any important fighter but he is at the 34th rank. How its happening ?

Ali Eren Demirezen won on 2018-09-29. His bout were entered on 2018-10-01 and his ratings data will change with the next program run on 2018-10-02,
Meanwhile he lost a rank from #69 to #70 because a boxer passed him by a good result.
Daser defeated Ola Afolabi on 2017-07-19, who was ranked #18 at cruiserweight then.

Not a ratings question, but I'm noticing there is a Sport column that has Pro Boxing listed underneath it on event pages. Is Boxrec going to be tracking/adding amateur boxing results or a other non-boxing combat sports in the future or whats up with this change?

It was done at the request of the ABC (Association of Boxing Commissions), they need to record suspensions for these sports as a lot of boxers are crossing over between them. We don't include them in totals or display them to the public.

sorry , whats the poor opposition penalty again?
just wondering why inoues points dropped from 454 after beating mcdonell 5 months ago, to only 379 entering the payano fight.
i had thought bad opposition penalty was for not fighting someone who had at least 1/3 your points in the last 18 months, but jamie mcdonnell had slightly over 1/3 when inoue fought him

The requirement is at least 1/2 of a boxer's points.

They will NOT be part of the pro boxers' record - they are not regarded as pro boxing.

Pro boxers are crossing over and having other fights, getting KOed and then boxing the next week as no-one recorded it. The commissions want us to record these fights with suspensions to protect the boxers.

Why does Pulev have 173 points in the rankings but 192 points in his profile?

He had 192 points after the bout on 2018-10-27.
But on 2018-10-29 his only opponent left within last 18 months since 2017-04-29 was Hughy Fury with 76 points. This was less than 50% of his own rating. So his rating was reduced to 173 points.

Yes, for #2 - for the annual best opponent.

Yes, for #2 - for the annual best opponent.
I’ll give you an example:
1. The fighter won the number 2; he no longer fought this year and received 200 points in an all-time rating;
2. The fighter won the numbers 2 numbers 7 and numbers 14 this year and received 200 points of the all-time rating;
3 fighter won number 2 numbers 3 and number 3 again and also received 200 all-time rating points.
It turns out according to the rating all three have given the same year but by the fact fighter № 3 ???

I understand. the difference. But I think, it is enough to reward all 3 with the points for defeating #2, their best annual win.

so does this system punish ambitious guys who will fight the #2, then several of the next best guys the same year ? it doesnt rate them any higher then if they just beat the #2? is that right?
if that is true, it is especially out of place in a historically shallow division like cruiser, where a few high level wins really goes a long way for a fighters standing
