Elmer, if Mimmy has those bouts he'd put em up on YouTube for everyone to see, he's very democratic :TU:

Yes I have seen them all. It all began many many years ago. I used to get up at all times and tape fights. I did have over 2500 fights at one point. Many tapes have been lost due to mold and tape deteriation over the years. Looking back the attic was not the best place to store vhs tapes for 30 years

Boxing Tape 83 should be up sometime this afternoon

Larry Holmes v Ray Mercer
Ray Mancini v Arturo Frias
Paul Harvey v Tony Pepp
Robbie Regan v Juan Blanco
Kris McAdams v Peter Roberts
Ronnie Carroll v Joe Kelly (2) Poor quality in places, stopped after round 9.

That tape was too badly damaged with mold on the Carroll fight, cant get it to work ok so had to abort during round 9 which was a great shame. Unfortunately time has just caught up with some of the tapes.

Mimmy! I found that topic by accident via google, but I've been following your channel for a while.
That's great to find you here as I wanted to thank you. That channel you created is just a gold mine for a younger boxing fan wanting to go back in time. Real treasure.. Those big title fights will show up eventually here and there, but those local or Euro-level fights are just so hard to get by.
I know how time consuming it is not only to convert it, but then to upload it as well for others and I think it's awesome what you do. Some fans these days are more demanding when it comes to quality, HD and all that bulls*it , but I'm delighted.
Thanks, good people :TU: . Made a lot of my days fun!

im glad folks appreciate it. Yes its time consuming especially being a full time worker and grandparent. Ive been putting off this task for many years and im really happy people are enjoying yesteryear fights. Ive wasted a lot of action through tape damage but there are quite a lot to come yet. Just keep tuning in and enjoy the fights.
