Not sure you can say that after that performance, if Haye chins AJ it's over IMO.Neil Gee wrote:Joshua would eat H alive.

It's bordering neglect sticking a man off the street in with a world class fighter with 10oz gloves on.Like a Boss wrote:I'm not pointing at Haye by saying de Mori should never have been in there with him. He's never beaten anybody. A joke that he got this fight.
I still think Haye is the most clean hitting, accurate HW out there. That will do over lack of speed.

Not a good fight was it.
De Mori was horribly over-matched and paid for the price for that. Hopefully no long lasting damage done. As for Haye, he needs to fight someone capable of fighting back so we can see how good he really is. Haye looked very good but the question is to what extent he was made to look good tonight.

A rather cynical and sad spectacle.

Go on Dempsey!

Bit of both. Not so much his hands were slow but he was very ponderous on his feet.95gerog wrote:slow, or just slow for Haye?

de Mori was a prefect first up for Haye. Zero mobility. Poor defence. Sitting duck for a hammering.SAPFO wrote:It's bordering neglect sticking a man off the street in with a world class fighter with 10oz gloves on.Like a Boss wrote:I'm not pointing at Haye by saying de Mori should never have been in there with him. I didn't think haye looked that slow. Maybe not as fast as before but that was nearly 4 years ago. Yes di mori was well overmatched, but he was hardly likely to go in with a beast on his return, and it was free to air. I'd like to see him back very quickly, I think it's unfair to judge too much based on 2minutes 11 seconds of one sided action.

LOL the Mc echoing around the arena as Sophia trying to conduct an interview haha

Aggressive stuff from Dempsey. Don't ever remember him being as blunt as that with anybody.

It's just a feeling, but it's strong enough for me to stick my neck out. AJ wins for me. This fight tonight means bugger all.Nightmare Roy wrote:Not sure you can say that after that performance, if Haye chins AJ it's over IMO.Neil Gee wrote:Joshua would eat H alive.
What a terrible show. I can't believe they have based the whole show around 2 minutes of action. You can tell 'Dave' isn't run by boxing fans who have any interest in the sport. I've had enuff. Goodnight.
