I just saw a scheduled fight between Nathan Gorman vs Nick Webb and I can't wait for the result. I know that Nick Webb is an absolute pussy who was scared to fight Tyrone Spong, but now he's scheduled with this top 70 boxer, I can't wait for it to happen. Either one of them will become as boxrec top 50 after that fight. Assuming Nick Webb doesn't chicken out anyway ofcourse.

Edit: Parker now scheduled again! 23-9

Hughie Fury now has 3 fights scheduled!

I feel sorry for Canelo v GGG as they have Mayweather McGregor a couple weeks before and now Hughie Fury v Parker the week after.

Overshadowed :verysad:

If Hughie fights in twelve days at the Copperbox you have to suggest it makes the Parker fight more likely, if only due to the confirmation that Hughie has a licence again.

But I'm not sure this will work at Manchester Arena. If tickets are dismal, and there's every chance they will be, I can sense another bad back.

I'm looking forward to it. I'm going VIP, I'm skint so I'm just going to enter a competition on BN website. Save a grand.

I think Frank should just dish out complimentary vip's to BoxRec to save all the messing about.

I thought Hughie was 100% a Warren fighter?

Same I thought he signed a promotional agreement with him.

Still been a few hours since the announcement and not one FW affiliated Twitter account has acknowledged it which is very unusual.

It's my local arena and after what happened with the Fury Klitschko rematch ( which I had tickets to) I certainly will not purchase tickets.

I can't see it selling well at all.

The ticket prices will be very interesting considering this fight costs around £2million to put on ( figure based on the purse bid Parkers team won a few months ago)

If I was Team Parker I would have negotiated a non refundable deposit - if frank isn't involved it's got flop written all over it.

Maybe it actually goes down this time. It's still a sh*t fight, that wasn't worth scheduling or re-scheduling in the first place. Hughie's not even Top 20.

Thanks for the clip wesshaw.
So it's oooon!
About time.
Probably go the distance, so 12 rounds of HW action.
Huey isn't really a puncher, and you can say a lot about Parker, and some of that should include what a good chin he has.
Unfortunately that has been proven by gaping holes in his defence to the overhand left hook.
Andy and Carlos landed that shot virtually at will.
I know we are basically talking about a B-B matchup, but any 50-50 fight is usually entertaining.

It hasn't been announced by Frank as he's clearly trying to sort Flanagan/Verdejo for the same card and when that or another opponent for Flanagam is sorted they'll announce it.

Have a bit of patience before going into conspiracy mode ffs

Absolutely anyone with any common sense (particularly a champion) should be getting an advance dealing with the Furys from now on.

This does happen in boxing. I remember Eddie Hearn at the Crolla Perez press conference admitting he paid Abril an advance before he pulled out of the fight.
