The trouble Walsh was in seemed to go over Woodhalls head there. The job was done with the knockdown.

Davis very impressive.

Not sure whether that was Davis being that good or Walsh being that bad. Walsh looked totally out of his depth. He did nothing at all. looked like the ref got in the way when Walsh to a big punch on the ropes, leave them alone and let them fight.

Stoppage could be called ever so slightly premature, it is a world title fight after all, but it was going to end only one way so fair enough really.

Gutted over Walsh`s performance, he was terrible.

I know im in the minority here but I find Woodhall's commentary very dull. He's knowledgeable but bland. Prefer Malignaggi.

It was Davis being that good , leagues above Walsh , expected a much closer fight myself .

this ^ scary speed and accurate.immediate step to the side when he had walsh in trouble so walsh was covering up for punches coming from straight in front of him. i thought his height might be an issue when he moves up in weight, now i don't think it will be a problem . going to take someone with incredible speed and movement to give him major trouble.

Walsh was in there with a world class guy no shame. He can still come back. Unlucky to get Davis.

I agree. I think Davis made him look worse than he actually is.

Davis being that good shouldn't have stopped Walsh actually trying to defend himself though. Instead he just kept his hands down by his side even when he was getting battered. Very disappointing performance.

I'd pick Lomachenko to beat Davis but I think Davis himself recognises that he's not ready for Lomachenko yet.

Me too, but sometimes you have to roll the dice. He won`t keep that speed for too long. A lot of people think Tyson was at his peak at 21, this kid could the same.

It will be interesting to see how long he stays at 130. Only 22, and already needed three attempts at making weight. I suppose it could've just been a miscalculation on his end though..

The guys at 135 are significantly taller, although he's got the type of speed to mitigate that.

He is listed as having a very long reach and looking at him he does indeed appear to have long arms so I think his listed reach is geniune.

I haven't heard any post fight stuff yet and couldn't hear the commentary too well as I was watching on my phone but I see Woodhall is being criticised. Like someone above has said, I quite like the guy but I've found myself disagreeing with him a lot recently when he's been commentating. Unusual because I more or less used to always agree with him! Even last week I completely disagreed with him on a few of the rounds. Seemed as if he saw a completely different round from the one I was watching on a few occasions.

You will never see him again on these shores again after the way the muppets in the crowd acted tonight .
bellends like that need banning tbh, must be loads of camera footage that obviously won't be utilised as its boxing so they think its ok. stuff like that really puts me off taking my sons to live shows and its all lard arses with beer inside them that wouldn't put up when sober :witzend:

I dont like either of them as commentators, their accents grind badly on tv and they seem too loathe to call things out because they are ex-fighters who dont want to upset people in the game. Prefer journalistic types who dont care who they upset like Bunce, Darke, Dempsey etc . . . . . I dont get this theory that you need an ex pro to call the action, give me a lifelong fan of the sport who doesnt give a monkeys who gets upset about his opinion.

You don't need to be a mother to become a midwife

It pisses me off too.

I hated how the crowd booed Golovkins after the brook fight. And Linares after the first Crolla fight.

No wonder top fighters won't come here.
