Smith won with physicality and better fundamentals, but he is very limited.

Smith took it convincingly but looked really helpless at times. I agree tha both Eubank and Groves look better ATM.

x3

His ceiling is to be a weak alphabet champ with home advantage at best. It doesn't look like he can improve much either.
I guess we were seduced by the size and power.

Feck me that's a bit harsh , he's been out of the ring for 10 months and although may never be a world champion I'd say what he's achieved already proves he isn't as bad as you say .

He was very gracious in defeat, seems a good bloke.

The Smiths could learn a lot from him.

You can't deny the big and stiff parts. And unfortunately in boxing fighters who are both big and stiff can sometimes look like idiots

I'm not the only one who's been saying all of the following:

No head movement or movement from the waist
Concrete feet
Fights in straight lines goes back and forward on rails

Crusader to name but one has also been saying this literally years I am sure.

He does, respectful, no edge and knows he's got everything to achieve.

I don't disagree with Calum, however in the interview instead of him saying he was the better boxer technically (and I don't think that he was) it would have been nice if he had actually acknowledged his opponent.

Skoglund thanked his supporters, thanked Smiths supporters and then said he hoped Smith would win the tournament.
