Fully agree. Weird though it hasn’t been formally announced.
Yeah - it was good to see.mickey1975 wrote: ↑04 Jan 2022, 15:39 Simon Jordan got stuck in to Robert Smith today. He's quite good, Jordan.
His excuses for the Sheeraz decision was ridiculous.maverick23 wrote: ↑04 Jan 2022, 16:28Yeah - it was good to see.mickey1975 wrote: ↑04 Jan 2022, 15:39 Simon Jordan got stuck in to Robert Smith today. He's quite good, Jordan.
Smith’s argument about needing a circuit breaker for boxing and that if one fighter gets covid then the show could be off doesn’t make sense at all.
Yeah. He seems to make a decision and then will say anything to defend it.mickey1975 wrote: ↑04 Jan 2022, 19:31His excuses for the Sheeraz decision was ridiculous.maverick23 wrote: ↑04 Jan 2022, 16:28Yeah - it was good to see.mickey1975 wrote: ↑04 Jan 2022, 15:39 Simon Jordan got stuck in to Robert Smith today. I think he has. He meant Skeete was up on points, I think. Sheeraz has said yesterday he'd have stopped him anyway. Jordan told Kell Brook that Khan was going to beat him. I don't know how Jordan has become a boxing expert. Wasn't he Crystal Palaces owner years ago?maverick23 wrote: ↑05 Jan 2022, 05:20Yeah. You may have seen it but Jordan also gave FW a roasting on the Sheeraz fight. Not sure what FW could have done about it but I got the impression that Jordan hasn’t actually watched the fight - he said something along the lines of ‘Skeete was hammering him’ which wasn’t exactly the case.
I think Sheeraz is probably right that he would have stopped him but it doesn’t change the fact he should have been DQ’d.mickey1975 wrote: ↑05 Jan 2022, 05:23I think he has. Yeh, get a similar arena in the UK.Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑05 Jan 2022, 07:16 I don’t understand why they haven’t changed venue to England? The flannels in the Welsh Government have banned crowds from sporting events, can’t see that changing by 5th February.
It’s probably because they don’t want to take the piss with the fans. It’s already been moved once and if they move it to a different country a week later then it’s not a great look.Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑05 Jan 2022, 07:16 I don’t understand why they haven’t changed venue to England? There's no arena's in England though near the Wales border is there? Anything in Bristol?
Didn't Bruno fight in Shepton Mallet or somewhere down that way ?Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑05 Jan 2022, 07:46Can’t really think of anywhere tbh.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑05 Jan 2022, 07:30Yeh, get a similar arena in the UK.Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑05 Jan 2022, 07:16 I don’t understand why they haven’t changed venue to England? Don't listen to TS these days, but from previously listening and seeing clips on Twitter he does seem to know what he's talking about to be fair when it comes to boxing.mickey1975 wrote: ↑04 Jan 2022, 15:39 Simon Jordan got stuck in to Robert Smith today. He's quite good, Jordan.
That rings a bell, but wasn't it open air?tony1234 wrote: ↑05 Jan 2022, 11:22Didn't Bruno fight in Shepton Mallet or somewhere down that way ?Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑05 Jan 2022, 07:46Can’t really think of anywhere tbh.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑05 Jan 2022, 07:30

That must be the place I found on google earlier then, looks like some sort of country show venue?

There`s virtually nothing indoors in Bristol apart from Sports centres etc, although having been to the Motorpoint Arena recently I wasn`t impressed by that either, just reminded me of a School sports hall.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑05 Jan 2022, 07:30Yeh, get a similar arena in the UK.Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑05 Jan 2022, 07:16 I don’t understand why they haven’t changed venue to England? I haven't listened for a while but always liked Jordan who seems very knowledgeable on a range of sports and is a boxing fanFightnight Scores wrote: ↑05 Jan 2022, 14:30Don't listen to TS these days, but from previously listening and seeing clips on Twitter he does seem to know what he's talking about to be fair when it comes to boxing.mickey1975 wrote: ↑04 Jan 2022, 15:39 Simon Jordan got stuck in to Robert Smith today.
