Wood vs Warrington intrigues me

I find it hard to think josh wasn't juiced to the gills against Selby and definitely Frampton, they are bar a massive margin the best performances be ever put in. Like Frampton couldn't hurt him and he could hurt Frampton, it didn't really pass the eelye test for all things being equal.

Yeah Warrington has definitely been juiced the last few years imo. Might also explain why his personality seems to have got a lot worse.

Bridges v Roman I had a draw; Don Trella had it slightly different.
Warrington looked good… but he’s getting away with murder. No British ref stops that if it’s Josh on the ropes like that.
Martinez cut to ribbons by head clashes and McDonnell ends up warning Kiko for it.
Doctor didn’t wanna know about the cuts in round 1-4… as soon as 4 were done he was swarming in the corner.
Stopped too early imo.
Big moment in the fight as Josh was tiring after the early exchanges.

And DAZN’s comm team atrocious. Full of bias. Costello is horrible on the tv and Barker’s standards have gone down.

Well I enjoyed the Warrington/Kiko fight and the Ebonie Bridges fight kept me entertained, Williamson v Cartwright the night before was a good fight and the week before we had Conlan v Wood and the Sandy Ryan fight, week before that was Jordan Gill snatching victory from the jaws of defeat and a few weeks back we had the mastery of Chocolatito turning back the challenge of a dangerous young lion in Martinez, there been other stuff including bits and bobs from Dubai, OZ, USA and Japan but the point is don’t spend all your time bashing the sport to the point that you forget to celebrate all the good stuff, boxing has always been flawed, get over it and enjoy the sport rather than slagging it off all the time.

Wasnt a bad week at all.

I wasn’t to re sub to DAZN but April seems dry. Apart from GGG, which I’ll watch the usual 17 min highlights the next day.

I’m saving this months £8..

I don't know what you can buy for £8 that is better value than a whole months worth of boxing, especially the month we've just had.

I mentioned it, 100% should of been a point off, he hit on the break and after the bell in the first round. should of been a point.

But the fouls that effected the outcome were warringtons, hence why people are talking about it. If kikos late shots had a real effect we would likely be discussing them more. like the 3 cuts kiko had to deal with.

Should’ve been a point off. I didn’t mention it in my post but I understand why he punched through frustration.

And your right it was only after round 4 when it would have gone to the scorecards that McDonell got busy.

I think there’s other factors at play. Frampton was on the decline & Selby looked horrendous on the scales & was probably only still in that division to get a pay day. He moved up two weight classes after that fight.

That was an early stoppage for a world title fight.
You can say Josh was dominating which he was but he was still getting tagged in exchanges and looked quite tired at times.
Lots of shots when Kiko is on the rope but hardly any of them land flush.
Kiko perhaps should’ve thrown something but I promise if that’s Warrington on the ropes he’s allowed to carry on until he’s caught clean multiple times.

Someone said it; best shot of the fight was the head butt in round 1.
It’s all part of his game plan these days using his head; it’s why he came into the ring last night and against Lara will about 1kg of vaseline on his head.

I used to like Josh but it’s not right that he’s gotten away with obvious headbutts that have significantly impaired the opposite fighter twice in a row.

McDonnell getting Kiko’s trainer to get rid of excess vaseline when O’Hagan didn’t even bring any to the ring… he just used what was in his sons hair.

For what it’s worth… I think Warrington beats Wood. I just wanna see Warrington v Lara III providing Warrington can some through Wood and Lara comes through his next fight.
