Hell don't we all doubt the big fights ever come off?
Boxing is famous for dragging out the most wanted fights. It is not odd to doubt they happen
It is odd when the same poster made a daily post claiming Fury was too scared to fight. Egg on the face shortly.
Let's just hope he recovers from his elbow surgery in time.
"Elbow surgery"= Steroids cycle. He's a dirty drugs cheat.

Usyk's promoter is talking more than anyone else.
Says the fight is 'on the way' of being finalized.
Fury not setting any deadlines now eh..

Perhaps he thinks that this opponent is genuinely wanting to fight.

There'll probably be some more fun and games when it is time for the actual signatures to be done. You need to be able to bend your elbow to sign something.

Quite. I think it's worth remembering that Joshua signed to box Fury only for Fury to pull out and take on Wilder for a third time. Joshua then very quickly signed to face Uysk instead. Meanwhile, Fury is yet to put pen to paper to face Uysk. Or Joshua, but he has managed to find the courage to face Chisora for a third time. Quite interesting.
No doubt Big Doofus can enlighten us all with some up to date Intel (after making his daily anti Joshua post).

Frank defends decision to go abroad
“Qatar just had the World Cup,” Warren told SecondsOut.com. “A lot of people were pissed off that football was there, but it was there because they pulled up the money to make it happen. The Olympics have gone to Moscow, they’ve gone all over to places that have paid money through. This is our Olympics. This is our World Cup final.”
“Years ago the big, big fight, Foreman and Ali went to Zaire,” Warren said. “They then did fights in Philippines, Jamaica. So, they went where the money was and that’s where we’re at. Nothing changes. Exactly the same, Even if you’re a footballer you go where you can earn the most money.
"They have short careers, boxers, it’s more dangerous than any other sport. Fights like this come along once in a generation, four belts on the line. These guys are going to want to get top dollar so we gotta go where the best offer is and that’s where it’s going to wind up.”

Did you see the contract he signed?
If he was happy to "sign" a contract with no date or venue on, why did he not sign the one for 3 December?

Very intriguing fight. In my opinion, Fury is favorite. If he keep the distance, he could win quite easily. I don't think the inside work of Usyk is so good to penetrate the guard od Fury. And the ukrainian is not even that powerfull. I believe it will be a foot work/distance fight.

Yeah, Usyk's inside work is barely existent. He has always been avoiding toe-to-toe action as much as he could and nobody out of his opposition could do it as good as Fury.

fury should screw the range game and take it inside where usyk has nothing. ya fury has length but wallin (a poor man's usyk) still sliced him up with a left cross and cunn dropped him from outside. he'll be most secure and dangerous in close, and also able to apply his weight more there.
if it gets into some in chess match fury might still win that, but it also gives usyk more of a chance to use his biggest strengths himself and doesnt make him pay as much for his lack of inside game and size disadvantage.
i'd be very interested to see what would happen if usyk recut fury's nasty cut early in the fight, he should aim for that eye

Body shots are the key for Tyson.

Usyk is better on his feet than Fury, and he'll need them to carry himself to a points win. I can't see him doing it for 12 rounds.

Fury will struggle with a fighter who moves better than he does. If he takes it close in he wins. If he allows a boxing match then Usyk should out point him.

The referee will be very significant to the result in what he allows Fury to get away with.
If it comes down to pure boxing then that heavily favours Usyk because he will be at least one step ahead and have Fury missing all night.
Preparation wise, Usyk will be better prepared having fought AJ 2x than Fury facing Whyte and Chisora.

if fury's side becomes obsessed with him being so much taller it could work into usyk's hands. i agree 100 percent he should fight 'big man' style, walk him down and take it to usyk and use the uppers and bodyshots inside. usyk also goes inactive and on the move for long periods when pressed, rather than counter back regularly, fury being aggressive could shut him down. fiddling long range fury could win as well, but then he's letting usyk play his own game too

Fury's front foot offence is typically just a 2 punch left-right combo .. I don't see that achieving much, except getting him close enough to try lean/push/hold Usyk to try and wear him down.
Usyk's size could very well be the big advantage rather disadvantage Fury is calling. I don't see Fury being able to apply anymore pressure than AJ tried in the 2nd fight because Fury likes to fight at his own comfortable pace - like his road work it's just slow paced - which gives the impression of superior fitness .. but if Usyk makes him exert himself and miss we may see the Fury superior fitness myth disappear too.

Lewis was noticeably knackered after failing to really subdue hard case Željko Mavrović over 12 rounds. Usyk is more talented than the Croatian and Fury doesn’t have the offensive weapons or as has been said, probably the fitness either of Lewis. There would be a fair danger of Fury just losing a wide decision. I personally don’t think there’s any danger of Fury ever fighting the guy.

I really do not know how getting off the floor twice, once from a very heavy knockdown, to come on and knock your opponent out in the ninth round or completing twelve rounds numerous times, including a few when noticeably not 100% doesnt convince people of your fitness.

The reality of it is probably that the talent pool of today’s heavyweights is paper thin. Fury does not have a lot of competition in comparison to other eras. But Usyk is very talented and will thus be avoided.

Mavrovic?
Who is avoiding Usyk? It seems everyone at both weights has either fought him or wants to.
