Instead of rehydratation Garcia should care more about hitting without his chin going straight along with his punches.

Yeh Garcia leaves that chin out to dry although tbf they were heavy shots Davis and Campbell dropped him, his recoupertive powers seem sound so far, don't like calling fighters quitters but looks like he lacked heart for the finish, even by the way he jumped straight up after the count, looked more a case not wanting to fight rather than not able

So will Garcia now quietly drop the King nickname and maybe halt the work on the premature crown tattoos?

I wonder if ODLH drops him now?

He did great to get up after the early heavy knockdown, but it seemed he was in no rush and had little desire to get up after the liver shot .. I think quit is too easy an option for him when things aren't playing out how he likes.

Garcia was far from being Tanks toughest test. Rolly did a lot better.

Why on earth would Oscar drop the sports most marketable fighter? Did Hearn after AJ quit against Fat Andy? Garcia has good excuses as well for all to see, not a mysterious ‘something wasn’t right but we’re not telling anyone’ bullshit story.

Garcia was doing well UNTIL that first knockdown ,, think then he relized he can be hurt , went into submissive mode , and quit that body shot was a good one , it was a delayed reaction , but for me he quit ,

Thing is once woman has played up behind your back , if the correct circumstances arise , they will always do it again , once a horse has bolted , once a dog has had its first bite and once someone has quit , it just gets easier to do it again

The fact he got up straight after the count is proof he quit for me.

He should have just stayed down.

Eubank would say he doesnt have the Warriors code.

Most likely, the weight cut was too much for him.

As soon as Davis gest hit he starts to complain to the ref.

His power will not get him out of trouble so easily once he moves up in weight.

My guess is he ducks Haney unless he loses to Loma.

I`d like to see Tank in with Cordina.

They could fight at 130 or 135

Sublime body shot to end the fight, but also devastating.

Davis simply too good, but i admired Garcia for chasing the fight and still admire him for his willingness to go after Davis when the 1st bell went. He didn't choke, but his strategy was poor. Big on balls, low on thinking !

I can't take a swipe at Garcia when you get crippled with a body shot like that. He did try and beat the count at one point but the agonising pain hadn't gone and he had to sit out, which would have been very frustrating and humiliating for Garcia.

I can't stand the little bugger, but props to Davis :salut:

Their relationship has been strained for a few years now.
Will ODLH risk spending money building Garcia back up, with the real danger Garcia leaves him before a big money fight can be arranged?

Whilst Garcia has lots a good attributes - he also has lots of bad attributes which will limit him becoming the star King-Ry thought he would become.

* Hearn didn`t drop AJ after Fat Andy beat him because he knew AJ would easily beat him in the return - Garcia ain`t beating Tank in the foreseeable future so things are chalk and cheese there.

He didn’t know he could beat him. Unless he knew Andy was going to celebrate and not train. A fit Ruiz beats him 9/10.

No, I really believe that. He might take a bit longer to catch up with the gunshy version he actually created but he would get to him.

a 6'8, black, southpaw, ripped to shreds, cardio for days, lights out power, fast feet, strategic ruiz is the best boxer in the world. I agree he would beat AJ 9 times out of 10.

No you don't Mick - you just being silly :OhYes:

Fat Andy got lucky once .. the gun shy AJ who only able to box by numbers was still able to easily outboxed him in the rematch.

*Fury fans are as risk averse as Tyson Fury nowadays it seems :verysad:

To be fair.. AJ wasn’t gunshy in the first Ruiz fight.

It was that fight what made him gunshy.
