"This is heavyweight boxing - the kingdom of the one-punch upsets, the one-punch knockouts,' Caroline told Mail Sport.
"I think it’s a really 50/50 fight, I’m not just saying it because he’s my brother. I just think genuinely it’s a 50-50 fight. You’d be stupid not to give Daniel a chance. You have to look at his strengths and his weaknesses, and I think Daniel’s strengths can overcome Oleksandr Usyk’s weaknesses. Oleksandr Usyk was dropped as an amateur by (Artur) Beterbiev, he’s been stopped as an amateur, he’s been hurt as a pro."
"If you look at Anthony Joshua’s limitations, I don’t think he’s very fluid. He’s a very good boxer but he lacks the ability to put his punches together very well and go for it," Caroline explained.
"We were all saying to ourselves 'if Anthony Joshua just runs at him, makes this a six-round fight, he’s got a great chance' and he couldn’t do that. But I think Daniel has a better opportunity to do that. He’s younger, he’s fresher, he’s got more energy. And I don’t think he’s as big and as muscle-bound as AJ so he probably won’t gas out as much. And if he makes this a six, seven, 10 round fight, just really goes for it, I don’t see how Usyk will be able to stop it."

Does Usyk want to risk Saudi? I wouldn't have thought they would mess around waiting on Dubios if he wasn't fit.big lennox wrote: ↑04 Jul 2023, 04:15 Any news on a press conference for this fight? Is it still happening? Is Dubois fit?
Nothing that I’ve seen. Perhaps they’re trying to sort a U.K. broadcast deal out first.big lennox wrote: ↑04 Jul 2023, 04:15 Any news on a press conference for this fight? Is it still happening? Is Dubois fit?
K2/USYK17 probably shopping around.maverick23 wrote: ↑04 Jul 2023, 06:14Nothing that I’ve seen. Perhaps they’re trying to sort a U.K. broadcast deal out first.big lennox wrote: ↑04 Jul 2023, 04:15 Any news on a press conference for this fight? Is it still happening? Is Dubois fit?
I would say it’s crazy how it’s so close yet not officially announced yet AJ is supposedly fighting 2 weeks before.![]()
Depends how realistic they’re being with their financial expectations. Krassyuk fortunately isn’t daft but often people massively overestimate how much fights will do on U.K. PPV.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑04 Jul 2023, 06:36K2/USYK17 probably shopping around.maverick23 wrote: ↑04 Jul 2023, 06:14Nothing that I’ve seen. Probably want them to put it on PPV.
BT (TNT), Sky, DAZN should all want it IMO.
Being Poland is hour ahead of UK I take it.. lead in world need to be an early one.Manchester Hitman wrote: ↑05 Jul 2023, 17:25 As it’s PPV, it would be ok if Warren did a UK lead in and then switched over for Usyk-Dubois.
It would have to be announced very soon but maybe something like this in the midlands as all these guys are rumoured to be out soon;
Zack Parker TBA
Ekow Essuman v Harry Scarf
Nathan Heaney TBA
It’s the heavies man and Dubois can punch. Usyk getting old too and is way smaller. It’s not completely impossible. I think a 13% chance is about right.tiny_acres wrote: ↑05 Jul 2023, 17:48 I can not believe that at this time 13% of those answering the poll think Dubois will win![]()
I think this will be a cake walk for Usyk

Easy nights work but Usyk needs to let DDD have some success if he wants to temp Fury into the ring.tiny_acres wrote: ↑05 Jul 2023, 17:48 I can not believe that at this time 13% of those answering the poll think Dubois will win![]()
