Saw part way through last week that 10,000 tickets have sold so they’ve released a load more at £35 each.
Good news as the card does deserve a good gate.

Clarke's gonna dominate Wardley in this one.

Not sure on previous ones, maybe the fact that the coming Monday is a bank holiday was a factor this time around, people more likely to attend with the day off after, drinking etc?

Personally I don’t believe Clarke is as good as he thinks he is, whereas Wardley has proven to be better than many were expecting.
I’m leaning towards Wardley but either way may the best man win.
Glad to see some confident picks on both sides.

Clarke should be a level or two above Wardley given his amateur credentials but Wardley strikes me as someone who, even if he loses a few rounds, will still be believing he’ll win. He was taking shots clean against Nathan Gorman and came back great and then I thought he looked good against Adeleye.
Haven’t seen much from Clarke given his opposition so I’m leaning towards Wardley to stop him.

Given that neither is going to enjoy the dominance they’ve been used to up to this point, it could be something of an untidy affair.
Or one of them is really going to step things up on the night. That guy should be Clarke but I’m not convinced by him.

I'm going for Clarke. Gorman was outboxing Wardley easily but as we know, he's obese and Wardley was able to just start swinging on the front foot and get him out of there. He couldn't box with him and had to slug. Adeleye is a poor fighter for me. He lost 5-1 to Soko and Soko got robbed. Frazer can keep it simple here and win the fight with outside boxing. I'm not sure why anyone would think Wardley could win this fight when they are at range. Wardley will decide to do it the old fashioned way like he did vs Gorman but I think Frazer has some firepower himself and can wing the right hand in which I see doing damage. I just don't think Wardley can just go in there and bully and outslug Frazer and I'm confident he can't win this fight if it's a long range boxing match.
I think the odds should be the other way around on this one just because I think Frazer wins the boxing aspect. When it comes to forcing a slugfest, it can become anybodies game I agree but surely Frazer is not going to just get overwhelmed with his pedigree. By the way I'm not saying Frazer is world class or anything. He does look limited but Wardley even more so.

Pretty much this.
David Adeleye lost to Kamil, so beating him was not an achievement. Neither was Gorman, who's last fight proved his real level.
Fabio is big, strong, motivated, confident guy, who isn't without boxing skills. But Clarke's levels above in terms of all around technique and I think we'll see that on Sunday. The only way I see this going the other way is if Wardley can muscle/roughhouse Frazer into deep water in the later rounds and then put it on him.

Agreed. It's heavyweight boxing at the end of the day so anything can happen, especially when Wardley decides that they are going to forget about boxing and just comes after Frazer like he did Gorman. I just think Frazer is a big lump and just seems like the kind of heavyweight with some durability. Good luck going in there and having a slugfest with him. What would surprise me the most here would be Wardley winning the outside boxing match and picking up rounds. Another thing thats already been said but you can't buy that Team GB experience. When the bullets start flying I think Frazer will be the one who naturally keeps his cool and composure.

I'm interested to see the weights both guys turn up at.
Wardley in his last few fights has been around the 240 mark. Clarke has very consistently turned up at around 270 in all barring his first fight.
I expect both to be a bit lighter than their last few fights to show how seriously they are both taking it.

On paper Clarke should have this.
As an amateur his style just looked like it would seamlessly transition into the pro ranks.
I also like the fact he is going for the British and Commonwealth in his journey. This level fight should have been a bit sooner than 9th fight, but good to get 12 rounds if it goes that far.
Something tells me Fabio isn't going down easy here, and Big Fraze is going to have to be careful about being outworked.

Every decent fight was either on a Tuesday or Wednesday when I started going, ultra rare for a Saturday night, can only think Minter v Hagler and Watt v Arguello on a Saturday and Sunday's ultra. ultra rare with Bruno v Bonecrusher the only time I remember going on a Sunday

Evening people, hope everyone had a good bank holiday. I've enjoyed watching more of the build up to this today. I've spent the day chopping a tree down to save paying a tree surgeon. In other news, I now fully understand why people pay tree surgeons.....
